🐯Romeo & King Kieran🐯 (@weeklywhiskers) — Special needs warriors fighting against kidney disease & cancer by living the adventurous high life.
It’s a jungle out here! 🌼~King Kieran🌼 Our sincerest apologies for being absent for over a month. You’re probably wondering what’s the fluff is going on! To begin so that your minds are assured, we kitties are doing ok. Nothing much has changed in this regard so no mews is good mews, yes? Postings unfortunately will have to remain spurradic for some time ahead. Hu’mom has been catching up with “many adulting ‘sponsibilities” after graduating from university last month - by the way, thank mew for your congratulations. However, you must know she is not failing her duties to provide to us our mini adventures when time permits. We’re very unhappy if that these meowments don’t happen and we are good at reminding her what’s impurrtant. She needs some time to reflect and relax too like us kitties do best. However, during her finals week at uni last month, her BFF (not a best furry friend, but an adult one) suffered a heart attack related to the chemotherapy affects to the body. Hu’mom slept by her bedside in hospital to tend to the emotional needs and now is continuing to give aid while her friend has been home recovering. We’re asking for your patience and understanding until things return to some normalcy for us all. We‘ll continue to pester Hu’mom to wedge in some photos/videos to share with you when she is able. We do miss you all and hope your summer season finds you well. Kitty kisses!
Cruisin’ courtesy shuttle. #WhoWantsARide?#WhereWeGoing? ~King Kieran This squishy-soft racy cat car was gifted to the King from a wonderfully kind-hearted lady, Lou. Her mission is to remember her beloved @blackytwcc , and family - who she lost a year ago to the same type of cancer Kieran is currently battling - by gifting these cat cars to other cats battling lymphoma in Blacky’s memory. Lou also organises a heap of other fundraising for local New Zealand pet charities. I met Lou via one of our kind-hearted friends , Denise. Thank you both for having such big hearts!
King Kieran is dreaming of more ⛴adventures on this Caturday. . Even though the cancer and pancreatitis somewhat slows him down, he’s still eager to adventure so we’ve been indulging him with our first of the year bicycle adventures. We’re having summer-like record high temps here in Seattle for the past few days.
Seeing King Kieran so blissfully happy made my heart burst into joy and I wanted to share this special moment with you. Having the freedom to lounge and mill around was just purrr heaven for him. Living in a city means he always has to be leashed to avoid the potential dangers. Some of the park’s squirrels came close to tease him, but he wasn’t interested in their silly lil’ antics. No matter how far he went, he always returned at an instant when called. His expression at the end says it all. Happy Sunday everyone!

Kieran’s appetite had been for the most part was non-existent so we really thought we were going to lose him. However, his appetite has improved just this past week after some fine adjustments with his medication. 🙏🏻 He’s gained .5lbs/.45 kg)! 🎉 Adventures also appears to lift his spirits so we’re indulging him with plenty more. Thank you for all your pawsitive thoughts for him too. * #CancerCanGoKickOff!#TimeToLive!
