Chris isn’t smiling because of the rain. Or the wind. He actually hates wind. But there’s a giant herd of wild eland, a South African antelope in the distance that we encountered while hiking in the beautiful Drakensberg mountains a couple weeks back. 🦌🦌🦌 Read our latest post on the blog. A special thanks to @cathedralpeakhotel for their warm hospitality. We’ll be back!

Wading down a wadi in Jordan. Our 5ish km adventure down this canyon was definitely cooler than Petra, the Dead Sea, or the other well known tourist attractions... And colder.

This is the Saijo Sake Festival. ✨✨✨ Every October, for one weekend, the small town of Saijo (40mins outside of Hiroshima) comes alive (and a little tipsy) to celebrate the national alcohol of Japan, sake. With a 5,000 person outdoor izakaya pub, to 1000+ Japanese sakes to sample, it’s wild and worth a visit.✌️ New post 🆙, link in bio!

Now this is a view worth the gruelling hike to 5200m! Or is it? 🤨 Rainbow Mountain in the Peruvian Andes gets its colours from sedimentary mineral layers in the mountain which have been exposed due to erosion. It’s 3 hours away from Cusco, a common starting point for the famous Machu Picchu, and recently popular hike among tourists. Upon research, I learned that a lot of people have been extremely DISAPPOINTED by the hike. If it’s dry and sunny, sure it’s beautiful but it’s often raining and the lack of untrained guides, extremely poor trail conditions, and unprepared hikers is anything but a pot of gold. Nature is beautiful but don’t believe everything you see. Do your research and travel smart! 📸: @ujjwalchande

Every year, the Quechua people living in the Peruvian Andes mountains participate in a yearly tradition that rebuilds a suspension bridge made entirely out of grass. Ichu grass to be exact. Each participating family must contribute at least 130ft of rope for the bridge.
