Karena sisi kiri tubuh mulai bahu sampe kaki agak sedikit berbeda....bahu kanan jauh lebih terbuka n memutar lebh jauh dibanding kiri.. Begitu juga paha kanan jauh lebih fleksibel dari kiri... Jadi pose ini begitu unik bagi tubuhku.. Dimana sisi yg lentur menarik sisi yg kaku ( tuk tangan kanan menarik kaki kiri) N tangan kiri yg kurang lentur mendapat keleluasaan dari kaki kanan yg super lentur).. Seperti biasa yin yoga dl 20menit disambung hatha 15menit....baru berani masuk ke pose ini... Serba serbi dalam peryogaan.. Jd masihkah kita menganggap kalau tubuh semua orang itu sama... Tubuhku saja kanan kiri begitu jauh berbeda... A prānāyāma lift In my experience good prānāyāma practice is done when your perception is fully immersed in the pranic field. To be here requires very subtle attention to your body and breath. After a year of practice I can only get here whilst on a lift. The lift holds me which enables me to completely surrender my body to gravity. When I’m there I can feel a powerful pranic force surrounding my body. Mostly however, it needs rebalancing, has rough edges or kinks that need ironing out. I can feel this. This is where I use a combination of rechaka, pūraka (observed exhalations and inhalation) kumbhaka (breath retention), ujjāyī (victorious breath) and viloma (interrupted breathing) to cleanse, refresh and heal my pranic field. This might sound terribly complicated but it’s not. It’s just like dancing. It just takes total surrender and allowing then knowing kicks in (jñāna śākti). The 3rd image is the Tantric Diagram. It shows the layers of perception from the subtlest to the gross. Va pranizzata agitandola e travasandola da un recipiente all’altro. Va energizzata mettendole in bottiglie dove sono state poste etichette con parole positive (gioia, amore, salute, nel mio caso grazie...) e lasciate almeno una notte. . Ancora può essere lasciata a diretto contatto con la luce della luna in una notte di luna piena . Per chi lo ha è possibile fare il reiki all’acqua . Bevete tanto, almeno 8 bicchieri al giorno. The Birth Story 🤰👼 ... So firstly, there are two much more chatty and in depth versions of this for those that want to really get into the nitty gritty: a (very long) post up on on my blog, and a new episode on my wonderful friend @emmajaulin’s podcast MUM TALK. Hit the link on my bio for both of these. For now, this is the insta length version: I had a 10 hour labour on only gas and air. Which for a first-timer, is pretty good going. But truth be told, this masks the fact it was all WAY WAY harder than I thought it would be! I spent pretty much the entire time doubting whether I could do it (and vocalising those doubts): it wasn’t the pain in and of itself, more the fact that I had no idea it was only going to be 10 hours. And that not-knowing stressed me out. A lot. I also ended up on the full medical ward as I was bleeding and they needed the baby on a better monitor. This had been something I was vehemently against before I went into labour but at the time I couldn’t have cared less about. And when my 9lb (4kg) 95th%-head-sized hunkachunk of a baby was born after an hour of pushing, I was very grateful I had a team skilled at episiotomies around me! If the story could have ended here, it would have been pretty much a win. But no. My placenta refused to come out: a 1% complication, and one that left me in worse pain than anything which had gone before. For various reasons explained in my blog, we had to do a manual extraction on only gas and air. That, and the 90min that led up to it was, frankly, brutal. But the amazing support I received from my midwives and the female doc in what was truly a dark time will stay with me forever. I did have a little cry over what had happened once I was back in Mr RAD’s arms. Ok, a big one! But Quinn latched on like a pro, and after I had a moment to realise it was all over and that I was fine, this hit me: it might not have been exactly what we planned, but all’s well than ends well. And one happy healthy baby, one neither broken nor traumatised mama due to the amazing medical teams’ skills and support, and one very proud set of new parents, is a very very good ending indeed! @somewhat_rad Thanks for sharing! 💗💗

Our first full moon of 2019 is a special one and the biggest culmination of lunar activity until May 2021! Not only will the moon look bigger and brighter than usual it will also have a reddish hue. It will be eclipsed by the Earth shadow from 3:33am but your best view will most likely be around 5am Monday morning. . . This will be a beautiful spectacle to witness as long as these clouds clear! . During my training and restorative yoga margin, we talked about breathing. Our ancestors held their breath due to basic instincts, when they had a feeling of danger. I came to yoga without ability to breath normally. I used to hold breath for awhile without noticing. Breathing was the least favorite aspect of my practice because I had that issue. Since last summer I have been forcing myself to practice what I learned about breathing. I do feel the difference and how it benefits my daily practice and my “off mat” life. Can’t believe this is me! My tightest wheel ever. I was so tired after coming out of this wheel tho 😅 Swipe for my first yoga selfie, me in wheel. I was about 4 months into my yoga journey then & I remembered I always lost a bunch of hair to the mat pushing up to wheel as it was a tug of war getting my shoulders & head off the mat. I know I sounded a lot like a broken record... but when I first started yoga, I couldn’t even push up to wheel. From ground zero to this, I’m happy & grateful.

200h of yoga training are not enough even to learn all the asanas, the phisical poses. It is only a "deep the toe in the pond". Being a yoga teacher is not about how I can do it, or being a gymnastic or being a yoga model, ( I am not 🤣) The great challenge is being truthful to my self, to my path with yoga and to my questions like: can I explain it to somebody else? In a language that is not my home language? I need a lot of 🧠 & 💪 + a lot of constant self studying of this spiritual science that can not be capitalized. I did my teaching training in 2014 without any expectations of teaching, to simply carry on my self practice in a safe way and to avoid injuries. One of the most revealing teaching from yoga was learning about the four paths of yoga, which helped me to understand many things happening around me which I was confused about. "Confusion is the door to understanding". I hope my new post about to the four paths of yoga brings you some joy. The choice to go the path that is comfortable, easy, familiar, and well-known, or the choice to take a step, a leap of faith, to challenge ourselves and watch ourselves grow, struggle, maybe even fail, and if we work hard enough, maybe succeed. I choose discomfort. I choose growth. I choose the unknown. A stagnant state of being leaves me restless, hungry, and eager for more. I hope you choose to get out of your comfort zone, to reach for things you say you can't do, to push yourself to new limits, and to learn so much about yourself.
