Exercise Completed - "Front Squat" . The Front Squat has been my enemy for the past few months The Reasons Why? ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ⚀ Elbows were not positioned high enough ⚁ Torso not braced tight enough ⚂ Previous knee injury causing lack of stability & strength within the lower region ⚃ Excessive forward lean ⚄ Bar would slip off my shoulders ⚅ Causing me to fail the lift consistently . However over time, improvements were made through; accessory work, stretching & mobility drills, foam rolling, a whole lot of practice & confidence building . Moral of this post, within any fitness journey, you are going to come across a few failures. Do not let these failures put you off or knock down your confidence, if anything see it as a target in which practice & some foundational work will get you to succeed further down the line! . #squat#squats#weightlifting#weighttraining#strength#focus

Really excited to see what this year brings 💪 my new goal is to slim down my waist, grow my glutes and hamstrings, and get a bit more shape by building up my lats. My current waist and hip measurements are 28inch and 38inch. Hope to keep the size around my hips but slim my waist to around 26inch. . Persistence pays off. Camera Geek stuff: Nikon D810 + NIKKOR 70-200 f2.8 + TC-14e Teleconverter // PRO TIP: To get sharper images your minimum shutter speed should be double the shutter speed of focal length of the lens. For example if I'm shooting with a 300mm lens I should shoot no less than 1/600 of a second (or closest faster shutter). In the old days on film it was your shutter should match your focal lenght, but today's modern DSLR Sensor's capture so much detail (including movement) that you need to use faster shutter speeds. Not feeling 100% today 🤒 so I decided to make some much needed comfort food 🙋🏽‍♀️These pancakes are perfect for when you want a treat but don’t want to go off track 🙌🏽 . ✨Recipe✨ 🥞 50g oats 🥞 1 scoop of protein powder (I used @myproteinuk salted caramel) 🥞1 egg 🥞 2 egg whites 🥞 Vanilla extract 🥞 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder . I know how hard I worked and I am still doing it even when the life gives me obstacles..I knew the entire time that I didn’t have as much muscle as I needed, but as a natural athlete my way is long and I need time to achieve my “body goals” . I am on my way there now and I’ll be 💯 devoted to the process.

Happy / Healthy off-season 🤗 (Bad lighting, no filter, no makeup, bed hair, just straight off the camera roll) - - This was hard to post, as I realised the only photos I really share is when I’m lean. But this is where I’m currently sitting before the next journey begins 👙 - Nutrition 💗 Currently building my calories up, at the moment on 1705 and eating the rainbow 🥑🥥🥗🍳🍚 - Weights 💗 (heavy lifting 💪🏼) 5x per week. Focusing on all body parts and building my strength back up. - - Cardio 💗 2x LISS cardio and 1x HIIT session p/w 🏃🏽‍♀️ - Tomorrow I begin week 3 and although it’s still early days I’ve noticed the biggest difference in my overall strength and being able to target different muscle groups that I haven’t been able to train for a while.
