If you want to see an actual change of your accessible range in your body you need to put in the hours to improve it. Make it as big of a priority as your strength work and work on it every training session or ideally every day. Our body meant to move in so many different ways, and pain/tightness is almost ALWAYS due to poor mobility. _____________________________________________________ 🔻NOTE: mobility includes not only being able to be in a certain position but being able to stabilize and control your body in and out of that position as well. Mobility = flexibility + strength/stability.

Facts: . ✅I take a nap prior to every training session. 15-45mins at least, depending on how tired I am. . ✅I take longer to get ready for the gym than I do for any other event. I plan my gym gear ahead of time. . ✅I always ensure I have enough food in my system prior to training. I have at least a minimum of 150carbs, 30fats, and around 100proteins beforehand. Throughout the years of training and experience I've gained, it's around these numbers that I feel has given me enough energy and strength to get through my entire workout which also includes a good long lasting pump. . ✅Without following specific steps of my routine, I can almost guarantee my workout will be complete garbage. Welcome to life! 😅 When things happen that aren’t exactly ideal, it’s easy to shift our focus from the good to the bad. Using terms like EVERYTHING is going wrong and NOTHING is going right, it’s easy to fall trap to a negative mindset. Take a good hard look at your situation. It might not be great, but THINGS COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE. You are still alive and breathing despite what you’ve gone through. I’ve freakin been there. That space where your so ready to just up and give up if one more thing happens. There is a certain amazingness when the whole world is literally falling on your head and your sitting there thinking “I’m still here!” and you start to realize how UNBREAKABLE you really are. No matter if 1 or 30 or 100 more things happen, you will be okay. Realize that you are an infinitely capable being that will adjust to whatever is thrown in your way. I try not to get too excited. But after 8 days with only one day over calories and two sodas on that same day AND walking everyday, I expected...hoped for more than .8 of a lb weight loss... Point eight. Ugh! I understand if I'm closer to goal weight. The last 10 lbs is a bitch to lose. But I'm waaaayyyy above that! In the past, I would have done one of two things... Say "Fuck it" and quit... Or try something crazy like fasting for a week or eating 500 calories and doubling up all my training. So how will I respond this time? It's my choice. I'm in control of this journey. Time to evaluate what I ate and make smarter choices. Time to increase my training a bit, but not go crazy... I'm already starting 5krunner so that's a start. This time will be different. It's not about the scale. It's about developing life-changing habits and trusting the long-term process. It's about 10, 20, 30 years from now and not just seeing a low number next week. All a diagnosis does is put a Latin name to the problem you have, it does not tell you what you have to do to get rid of it. . I wish it was as easy as effect=cause, A=B but that is RARELY the case. A could = B, but could also be C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K.... etc. Everyone who comes in with "lower back pain" has it for a different reason, but the they all result in the same diagnosis. Here’s a tough variation of the hammer curl that you should try the next time you hit your arms🔥 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• A few notes: - Keep your entire back pressed against a wall to avoid any swinging. - At the bottom of each rep squeeze your tricep as hard as you can for a 2 count. - At the top of each rep squeeze your fingers on the handle of the dumbbell while also flexing your bicep. - Perform 4 sets failing between 8-12 reps on each set. - On the last set finish with a dropset of 25% to finish. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Give it a shot and let me know if you liked it 💪🏻

My diet does consist of trying to lose the fat, but I do train 5-6x a week, therefore I need fuel to perform. My goal is to have healthy meals but not deprive myself with treats as well! Some days I don’t feel like going crazy and I’ll take it a bit easier at the gym and then there’s other days I have so much energy I’m ready to tackle a big workout.
