Ingrédients: . . 1/2 à 1 cuill. à soupe d’huile de coco @kazidomi_fr. 1 cuill. à soupe de pâte de curry jaune (magasin asiatique). Gingembre frais haché finement (4 cm). Seitan (200g) coupé finement @kazidomi_fr. 1 cuill. à soupe de vinaigre de riz. 200ml de lait de coco en boite @kazidomi_fr . 40g de cacahuète non salée concassée ou 40g de beurre de cacahuète @kazidomi_fr . 100g de champignon. Add the pasta and cook until al dente according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta and return to the pot to stay warm. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 5-7 minutes or until fragrant and they soften. Add the garlic, and cook for 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Add the spinach and cook for 1 minute, or until is slightly wilts. Add the hummus, about ½ cup of the pasta cooking water, the lemon juice and lemon zest, and stir until a creamy sauce forms. Add more pasta water to thin the sauce a little at time, as desired. Transfer the cooked pasta to the skillet, add the basil and crushed red pepper. Jackfruit Puttanesca. My youngest daughter really doesn’t like Jackfruit, not even in a ‘pulled’ burger, I can’t understand why? Puttanesca however is one of her favourites. I made it a little while back with jackfruit, but kept that information to myself 🤫🤭(we know how to have a laugh here!) after a few oblivious mouthfuls she said ‘wait, Mum! Your eating tuna!’ 😆I told you we know how to have a laugh. Anyway, the point is she loved it and couldn’t tell the difference. Even on discovering it included jackfruit, she still loves it. This sushi looks amazing! Follow @theplantbasedpage for more food inspiration. ・・・ Sushi is always a good idea to us! It’s quick and easy to make, delicious and filling! You can use any ingredients you like, from avocado, cucumber, pumpkin, carrots and even tofu and Tempe! Get creative ✨🍙🍱 • • Seaweed is also chock-full of vitamins and minerals. It is a great source of vitamins A, C, E, K and B vitamins. It's also rich in minerals, including iodine, selenium, calcium and iron. It’s pretty fun to make yourself too! Garlic Mushroom & Asparagus Sushi 3 cups mushrooms 280g asparagus 2 avocados 280g carrots 1 cup white rice 1 cup brown rice 3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tbsp cane sugar 1-2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional) Thoroughly rinse rice until water runs clear & cook rice according to the directions of the package of rice. You can do all white rice or all brown or do half and half. If you do half and half, make sure to make them separately. Slice the mushrooms. Place the mushrooms in a bowl and add 3 tbsp of tamari or soy sauce, crushed garlic and mix with a spoon until everything is well combined. Cover and set in the fridge for 25 minutes. Slice avocado into thick slices & slice carrots into thin strips. In a large pan over medium heat add marinated mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes. Then add asparagus to the pan and cook both the asparagus and mushrooms for 10 minutes or until both are tender. Turn off heat and let vegetables cool. Let rice thoroughly cool and transfer to nonmetallic bowl. Fluff with a fork to let extra heat release. Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved and pour into rice, gently mix rice to incorporate seasoning. Lay out a large piece of plastic wrap (or bamboo mat), then lay seaweed paper over it with rough side facing up, apply rice to nori sheet covering all edges. Apply rice 1/2″ thick. Layer veggies on bottom of nori & roll carefully with the plastic wrap (or bamboo mat), tightening with hands as you roll. Slice with a sharp knife. Season with sesame seeds if desired. Use Soy Sauce dipping and enjoy

Sweet potato, quinoa, and vegetable bake😋 Not one of my typical posts but I wanted to share this... Recently I’ve started meal prepping and it’s one of my favourite things to do now! It’s easy, cheap, and a healthy way to keep on track with nutrition with a busy schedule! •This ENTIRE meal is only about $12 and I got 6 meals (about $2/serving) •Took just 1 1/2 hours to make for the entire week • Filled with tons of whole grains, vegetables, protein, fibre, and healthy fats 🌱ingredients: 2 sweet potatoes 1 can of corn 1 can of tribeans (can use any kind) 1 Cup of quinoa 2 cups vegetable broth 1 green bell pepper 1 package of extra firm tofu (can sub for meat) Salt, pepper, garlic, and/or any other seasoning you wish Optional: avocado, tahini, spinach 📝directions: 1. Preheat oven to 375° and spray a baking dish 2. Chop sweet potatoes into small chunks and then place all ingredients into baking dish 3. Cover with tin foil and cook for 45 minutes until sweet potatoes are pretty soft 4. Remove from oven and take tin foil off. Cook for another 15 minutes

When it’s getting late, and you don’t have a lot of time to be making a big meal, or eating one, here’s a quickie recipe that will cook fast, and fill you up.😉 . 🍁🍃🍂🍃🍁 . Chop up one link of @fieldroast apple sausage, and place in a pan with a little water. While it’s cooking, add in a couple large handfuls of @yourtaylorfarms dark leafy greens, and about 2 ounces of @miraclenoodle “angel hair” shirataki noodles, which is roughly a third of a bag, plus add your seasonings. Let the ingredients cook till greens begin to wilt. Then add in a handful of “cheddar” style @parmelacreamery nut cheese, and continue cooking and mixing up the ingredients till the cheese begins to melt. Ready to serve!🍴 .🍂🍃🍁🍃🎨 . What a brilliant way to start the week 🌞 • Save this recipe to try later! 👆🏼 • 1 cup wholewheat flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup soy milk 1/2 cup earl grey tea (2 bags of tea steeped for 10 minutes in 1/2 cup boiling water) 1/2 tsp vanilla extract • Mix flour and baking powder together. Pour remaining ingredients slowly into the dry mixture and whisk just until no traces of flour remain. Pour batter into your waffle maker and cook accordingly! Makes 2 waffles 🥰

Do you reach for a snack 🍟🍰🍷🍦🍕🍺 instead of taking a walk when you’re stressed? Stress eating is a type of emotional eating, which contributes to excess, and often empty (high fat/sugary), calories and eventual weight gain. If the body is experiencing a stress response, it will release cortisol causing an ⬆️ in cravings. If we cave to the stress eating, we find ourselves on a perpetual rollercoaster of ⬆️ and ⬇️, which makes us more stressed because we find ourselves out-of-control 😧 A no-win situation that could lead to eventual adrenal fatigue! A technique many of my clients pair with the 4 F’s (featured on our cravings post) is the acronym HALT. Tape this on your fridge, computer, or car dashboard, and ask yourself these questions BEFORE you reach for food! H = hungry? If you are, eat healthy using the 4 F’s. If not, then move on to the next letter. A = angry, frustrated, disappointed? If yes, then talk to a friend or write what you are feeling, then write out next steps to manage the emotion. Pumpkin quinoa risotto with chickpeas Have been thinking of different ways to use up boiled pumpkin. I’ve been really into pumpkin over the last few months. I never used to eat it before, but I’m constantly impressed by it’s incredible versatility; it’s a new fav for baking as well as for savory dishes ☺️🎃❤️ Serves 4 Ingredients: 200 grams pumpkin 200 grams chickpeas 1 cup of quinoa 2 cups vegetable broth 3 tomatoes 2 cloves of garlic Spices: cumin, paprika, turmeric and black pepper. Boil the pumpkin until soft. Chop and cook the garlic in a drop of oil, add the spices, then add the washed quinoa. Stir the quinoa for a minute and add a cup of the broth. Meanwhile liquidize the tomatoes. When the water has been mostly absorbed by the quinoa, add the other cup. Do the same again with the liquidized tomatoes. Combine with the pumpkin, keep stirring and when it’s nearly finished add the chickpeas for the last few minutes. Nane hatte vor Jahren bei eine Bodybuilding Show mitgemacht und hatte seitdem immer Schwierigkeiten mit Heißhunger und Abnehmen. Sie kam zu AngeLove Nutrition in der Suche nach Antworten. Here’s a healthier, lower sugar and protein dense alternative that will give you sustained energy even though it tastes like you’re starting your day with dessert 🙌 - WHAT’S INSIDE: * 1/2 cup steamed pumpkin * 1 cup rolled oats * 6 tbsp @bodybywild vanilla protein powder * 1 tbsp baking powder * 1 tsp baking soda * 1/2 tsp salt * 1 tsp cinnamon * 1 tsp mixed spice * 1 tbsp vanilla extract * 2 tbsp @silan.za date syrup * 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar * 1/2 cup almond or coconut nut milk - FOR THE PECAN CARAMEL: * 3 tbsp @buttanuttspreads pecan nut butter * 2 tbsp @silan.za date syrup * Pinch salt * 1/4 cup almond or coconut milk WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Blend the oats and other dry ingredients until fine and well mixed together. Then add in the wet ingredients until well combined. The batter will be thick - almost like a muffin batter consistency. Drop a heaped tbsp onto a heated pan and wait for it to cook through - it will form a few bubbles and harden a little before flipping over. To make the caramel - heat all the ingredients until it starts to thicken and caramelise. O segredo da pts saborosa é hidratar, escorrer, espremer e deixar um pouco úmida. Depois deixar marinando nos temperos por no mínimo meia hora para os esfomeados como eu. Para os que tem mais paciência, ela fica ainda mais gostosa se deixar marinando uma noite na geladeira. Quase não sobra pra vc @alemurata 😁

Banana Raspberry Baked Oats ✨ Happy Monday and a fresh start to the new week! 💚 I threw some ingredients together which I really like and this is how it turned out. Super delicious. All you need: 50g oats 100ml boiling water 50ml plant based milk (preferably coconut milk) 50g raspberries 1 banana 1 handful walnuts 1tsp flaxseed 1 tsp coconut flakes cinnamon and cardamom according to taste Soak the oats with the boiling water for 5 minutes. After that stir in 3/4 chopped banana, raspberries, walnuts, spices, flaxseed and the plant based milk until its well incorporated. Top it with the rest of the banana and put it in the preheated oven (180°C) for 15 minutes. Put on the coconut flakes and bake 5 minutes more. Write down a list of things you want to let go of so they’re now physical, on paper and let them go free 🕊 invite in newness and fresh bright energy 💫 that will guide you through this next month! . Anyway, enough of the hippy stuff. Here a little porridge combo I came up with for @oddboxldn. Perfect for these baaaaltic days❄️ ! . Ingredients-: 1C of oats, 1C water/mylk, 1 apple, 2 tsp cashews, 1tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg,1 tsp chia seeds, 1 tbsp honey/agave/maple syrup, 1 tsp coconut cream (optional), Coconut oil (for roasting). . Method-: -Preheat your oven to 180C spoon 1tsp of coconut oil on to a baking tray and place it in the oven. -Wash and chop one apple into cubes and add to the warm baking tray. Coat apple in coconut oil and then sprinkle with cinnamon. -Put the cashews onto the same baking tray and bake them together with the apple for around 15 minutes . -After about 10 minutes, start making the porridge. Add the oats and 1 cup of water/milk, sweetener and spices into a pan and heat until porridge thickens. -Add the 2nd cup of water/milk gradually until it reaches desired consistency. -Remove the apple and cashews from the oven after 15 minutes. Add half the apple into the pan and mix well. Then dish up - add more apple, cashew and chia seeds before serving. . I made carrot cake bliss balls! 🥕 🎾This recipe is actually inspired by a #thermomix recipe I learned the other day with my darling friend @libertysanger1 - who owns the thermomix... I made these in the blender and they turned out pretty well. I can’t remember the exact recipe so this is my version. 1 large carrot, grated 12 dates softened in 2-3 tablespoons of boiling water 1 cup walnuts 1/2 cup desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling) 1/4 tsp each of ground ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon Put all ingredients in a blender and whiz for about a minute until mixture is smooth. Roll into balls and coat in shredded coconut. (And helpful after being sick all weekend). #dinner#wholefoods#vegetables#roastvegetables#vegan#plantbased#veganfood#plantbasedfood#veganrecipes#plantbasedrecipes#veganuary#healthy#healthyrecipes#healthylifestyle#eggplant#sweetpotato#redcapsicum#broccolini#carrots#artichokehearts#zucchini#salad#summerfoods#freshfoods 1 x medium eggplant 1 x large sweet potato 1 x large red capsicum 2 x medium zucchini’s 2 x medium carrots 8 x broccolini stems (sliced in half) 6 x artichoke hearts 2 cloves garlic crushed 1/2 tspn black pepper 1 tspn sea salt flakes 1 tspn fresh rosemary chopped fine 1 tbsp olive oil 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 cup cooked quinoa 1 cup chickpeas 1/2 cup cooked lentils Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius (fan forced). Chop vegetables into chunks. Approximately all the same size, about 3cms. Add all the veg (except the broccolini) to a large bowl, along with the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper and rosemary. Mix well. Place veggies onto 2 flat oven trays. Cook for 30 minutes. Remove trays and add the broccolini. Return trays to the oven and cook for a further 20 mins. In a large bowl combine the cooked veggies, rice, quinoa, chickpeas and lentils. Mix to combine. Serve with sliced avo, hummus and fresh basil. Serves 4 Enjoy!!

I love how impressive crepe cakes look even though they're super easy to make, just requires a bit of patience making those crepes 😝. I love their texture too! All those layers really have a great mouthfeel 💖. . What are your favourite cake textures? (creamy, fluffy, a mix?) . Does anyone else suffer with a hindered relationship with food? I feel like this is something SO many people, girls in particular, suffer with, yet it isn’t talked about as much as it should be. Talking about it helps me personally, as someone who has been there. My biggest struggle was sweets. The guilt around them, not being able to stop at just one , etc. Since working on my relationship with food and through my love of healthifying my fave sweet treats, I’m able to treat myself & not feel a sense of guilt afterwards which comes with a great sense of relief! Just remember, life is too short to let food control you. 💕 . . . Lets ignore my lack of cutting skills, but These peanut butter crunch brownies are next on the list! They are soooo good - fudgy brownie, peanut butter cheesecake, & a chocolate crunch top that’s to die for. (I’ve been obsessed with crispy cereal lately, obvi 😂). This will be shared soon!
