Re-centering🍊 . . Took a bit of a social media hiatus to not only reflect on what I want to come into fruition in 2020 but also put in the requisite work to get there. . . After spending the better half of this past year trying to juggle multiple professional opportunities at once, I finally grasped the wisdom a close mentor tried to impart at outset. In response to an inquiry about the feasibility of a career path engaging all of my varied interests he stated "you can do everything, you just can't do it all at the exact same time and expect to do it all well." . . Experience (& exhaustion) finally driving home the sagacity of his advice, I'm now working toward a schedule that will allow me to engage in deep work in each area of interest, instead of shallowly working across and juggling several at once. . . These are a definite favorite in our house. They have a wonderful crispy outside and outstanding flavor! The recipe linked in my bio is my preferred way to make these and includes just tossing them in the coconut mixture rather than drudging them through individually. You can also forgo frying them which will also save time and calories. You won’t get as crispy of an exterior that way but you will still get a wonderful flakey outside and the same great taste.

It was then classified as possibly cancerous to humans. Yet, further research discovered that the cancer development in rats was not relevant to humans. ➡️Food sources of saccharin Saccharin is a common table sweetener. It can also be found in diet drinks and low-calorie foods, as well as vitamins and medicines. ➡️ How much can you eat? When it’s so nice out it’s hard to take it easy. Tested the broken pinky toe on a 20mile flat shuffle run. Pain was the same than walking at work all day yesterday. Hoka shoes are the best for cushion and long days. Since I haven’t been recovering from long runs quickly, figured I actually bring fuel and water this time to see how I recover. 1 spring gel every 50mins and 2oz of water/trailwind every 30mins. Took a little break after and hydration of 2 IPA beers then finished the day with an easy 15mile bike ride. Days off are to be outside!!

Changes do not happen overnight, and they can sometimes seem unnoticeable and that’s why I am trying to take pictures to help me see the changes more clearly since I see myself each and everyday and sometimes feel like I haven’t made any progress. Currently sitting at 238! I’ve put on 32 lbs over the last 2.5 months since Mexico where I was 202 in August. With my training I still incorporate a lot of functional patterns and flexibility training so I don’t lose movement with putting on mass as quick as I have. I still go to boxing, Muay Thai and wrestling for conditioning when im in town but with working out of town I run a lot for my cardio. The most impressive feat so far was even with putting on all this mass I still ran a 6 minute mile today after weight training! Thrilled it’s finally cool enough to cook in my kitchen again and get back to my meal-prep. I’ve really been feeling “off” lately and I KNOW it’s because my nutrition hasn’t been up to par. Living in the city makes it REALLY easy to eat out all the time so I basically live on Thai food, pizza and lots of noodles! Not that that bad but I need more variety and control of what goes into my body. Winter months get tough in the PNW and it’s really easy to fall into comfort food and a seasonal funk! I’m not having it! I’m excited to get back on track with a 3 day cleanse. I’m not planning on depriving myself of anything, (well, alcohol, but that’s another story), just bringing clean-eating back and clearing out the cobwebs!! Gonna be gentle with exercise and commit to 3 days of gentle Yoga and continue to keep up my hydration! My goal is 94oz. Of water/day! This is my personal accountability post. 👆🏼 I already feel better!! Yay!!!🎉🌈🎉
