Ondanks het koude weertje deel ik toch even een kleurrijk, bijna zomers broodje met jullie 😍wanneer ik het over mijn mealprep of überhaupt over wat ik eet praat, krijg ik nog wel eens te horen dat ‘ik daar tijd voor heb’ als in, meer dan een ander. Maar dat slaat dus nergens op. Ik neeeeem de tijd. Ik sta elke ochtend om 6 uur op om mijn lunch klaar te maken (en alles dus af te wegen) of ik doe dit al voor ik ga slapen. Ik kies heel bewust wat ik wel en niet eet: heb ik dit nodig? Zijn het nuttige voedingsstoffen? ✔️ dat neemt niet weg dat ik koken of in de keuken sta hartstikke leuk vind. Ik werd ook echt blij van deze broodjes! Wat er op zit? Zoete aardappel spread, bosui, geroosterde kikkererwten, avocado en komkommer (mag je zelf invullen wat op welk broodje zit 😝) kortom, ik neem de tijd, en dat raad ik iedereen aan! Je wordt je echt bewust van alles wanneer je dat doet. . --- FORCED REPETITIONS --- The third trainingsystem that causes muscle damage. Hence invokes hypertrophy. Mind you though, there are more methods and ways that create muscle damage. But dropsets, eccentrics and forced reps are the basic ones. --- As eccentrics this is a system you cannot do on your own. Here too your endurance, paintolerance and resilience will be tested here. --- How does it work? Choose a weight that will enable you to do a reasonable number of reps, say 10-12, then you add 2-4 reps forced, meaning someone else is helping you with the full rep(again if it's a barbell bicep curl), up and down, but with as little help as possible, letting you do the major part of the weight. Then take a rest and do 4 sets in total. This is the last exercise of your muscle group. --- As with the other 2 trainingsystems you have to carefully listen to your body. If you set your Rate of Perceived Muscle Soreness at 10 when it's on its top, repeat the exercise only when it's dropped back to a 2-3. This is your interpretation. 1 Is no soreness. 10 Is blocking you from doing the exercise. --- If you decide to put a serious trainingsystem like this in your workout, stick with it for at least 4 weeks, preferably 8 to 10. Don't interchange them thinking they might have the same effect. Each system has it's own demands and characteristics. The recent series of “Landmine-Only Workouts” I posted was received really well, both on IG and from people in my gym that follow my page. . So.. I thought I’d dive a little deeper into some of the exercises involved in those workouts AND some new ones which will REALLY test you! . 📝 N O T E • This variation of squat is NOT like most others - when performed the way in which I do in the 🎥👆🏼the movement is more akin to a pendulum squat (machine). • This movement doesn’t tax your legs like most other squat variations - I see it more of a whole body exercise. • When performed correctly it will light up your entire core, serratus, lats and thoracic extensors. • The major benefit of this technique is that it allows for a DEEP squat with maximal hip AND knee flexion WITHOUT any forward movement of the knees over the toes (dorsiflexion - a common depth-limiting factor for a lot of people), all whilst maintaining a very upright torso - reducing the stress placed on the spine! 👊🏼💥 . 🔑 K E Y P O I N T S • Start with a light load - this variation is much harder than it looks. • Position your hands over one another and draw your elbows towards each other for better support of the bar. • Initiate the movement by shifting the hips backward as if you were aiming to sit on a seat behind you. • This will prompt your torso to angle towards the floor - however, to maintain an upright torso, actively push the bar upward as it comes down. • Maintain the same distance from the bar to your chest throughout the movement. • Slowly lower your hips as deep as your mobility will allow (you should find your full depth in this variation considerably deeper than a conventional squat). • Pause in the bottom position for 1 second to ensure there isn’t any bouncing and lose of core stability. • Initiate concentric (upward) phase by firmly pressing through the floor. • Allow your hips to rise first - do not push your knees forward. • Continue extending your knees and return to start position by posteriorly tilting and extending the hips. . . #ASKAPEX . #ApexStrengthSociety . #StrengthThroughMovement#GrowthThrough

Today it's easy to smile, but it definitely wasn't always that way. I wasn't happy with the way I looked. I wasn't happy with my financial situation. I wasn't happy with what I was doing for work. I wasn't happy with my life. Funny when I think how much things changed in such a short period of time. Because once I gathered up enough courage to change my current situation, my whole life changed. I began living with purpose and intention. I remember I didn't know anything about running a business. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I had zero experience with social media. And networking?! I had a really hard time starting a conversation! That's when I became a student again. I started training to build the skills I needed to turn my dreams into a reality. I knew I wanted to make a difference, and this was the exact platform I needed to make it happen. Now I'm happy with the way I look even if I'm perfectly imperfect. I'm happy with our financial situation. And I couldn't be happier with my life right now. 💕 I know making that decision to change your life can be a scary one. There are so many unknowns. But it can also be liberating and exciting! You just have to make that choice. It's never worth staying where you are if it makes you unhappy or if it's not helping you reach your dreams or evolve. Кормим всех завтраками, но только не сейчас и не сегодня! И так мы растягиваем этот момент до тех пор, пока не наступает самый крайний срок. Но отчёт сам себя не написал, язык не выучился, в результате как висела проблема так и осталась. Тогда, начинаем винить себя, что не начали делать раньше, когда было время и возможность. У каждого ведь такое было🧐⁉️ ⠀ Поэтому, все скучные, неинтересные проблемы и задачи называют лягушками. Которых рекомендуется съедать на завтрак. ⠀ Как это работает❓ ⠀ Важно понять, что не настанет идеального времени для решения задачи. Либо ты её выполняешь сейчас/сегодня. Либо, ты так и будешь откладывать в долгий ящик и злиться на себя, что ни как не приступишь к её решению. ⠀ Просто зазубрите❗️Не существует подходящего момента для неприятных занятий. ⠀ Сделайте первый шаг. Он самый сложный. После него вы не бросите дело и захотите довести до конца. Кстати, чаще всего задача стоявшая перед вами оказывается несложной и занимает не так уж много времени. ⠀ Выполняя это задание каждое утро, вы обеспечите себе отличное настроение и прилив энергии. Все остальные проблемы будут казаться пустяком😉
