Broiled Hamachi Kama (Yellowtail collar) with zaru soba (cold buckwheat soba noodles). The yellowtail was seasoned with sea salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Broiled skin-side down. The noodles were boiled until aldente, and then cooled and chilled in an ice bath. Served with scallions and shredded nori. The dipping sauce was made with ponzu, chili oil, and scallions.

1075 calorie day, still a little room for a snack later if I want! I've been getting so many questions about what I eat in a day so I thought I'd take photos all day. This is a very typical day for me. @kodiakcakes pancakes, followed by some herbal tea with sugar free syrup. After my workout a veggie burger with cottage cheese, was feeling hungry still so I had a banana. An afternoon snack of ham and grapes followed by an early dinner of left over tri tip steak over lettuce with Greek yogurt blue cheese dressing and Pacific foods organic tomato soup. Did I really have a photo shoot just to make a post about alcohol???????? You bet your sweet sweet ass I did😍 I’ve started to realize I don’t post enough about things that I use and love on this weightloss journey so with just 6 weeks left in the year I decided to do just that! Before I got serious I use to make a list of all the things my favorite weightloss pages would use and it’s helped me so much now💪🏽 Soo because the holidays are here like now I know a lot of us have a drink or 2 or 10 to celebrate or to de-stress and I just wanted to shout out to @smirnoffus for making these kick ass drinks 1 CARB PER CAN y’all!!!! And they are under 100 calories each 0 sugar and 4.5% alcohol if you need a quick buzz boom this is the way to go and they taste so good( if you enjoy sparking water like Topo Chico) then these will be your bff through the holidays and the flavors are a little festive like cranberry lime and raspberry rosè 😍😍😍😍 My go to alcohol or choice use to be Moscato White/red/pink you name it I drank wine like it was going out of style not realizing just how fully loaded it was usually around 130calories and almost 12g of carbs in one single little 8oz ( but I would drink a bottle in one sitting sometimes more because I was a bit wild) but anywho alcohol is empty calories regardless but I’m not giving it up because I do what I want and don’t mind working a little harder to enjoy it in peace and long story short these #Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer’s are the bomb I plan on making a weightloss friendly Sangria out of these( will post later on) but anywho that’s all I have Also drink responsibly y’all have fun but always be safe k thanks byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee . . . . #weightloss#lowcarb#lowcarbalcohol#besafe#drinkresponsibly#holidays#thanksgiving#lowcalorie#lowcaloriealcohol#spikedseltzer

If you stick in your deficit you’ll loose weight. I try to source low calorie foods so I can eat enough to not be hungry but remain in my count. Making changes like eating egg whites not yolks, white meat instead of red, sweetener (controversial I know, we’ll get to that) not sugar. We’ve heard the term crash diet. ➡️ someone who heavily rerestrict calories severely, cuts out certain foods and YES they lose weight BUT they usually end up rebounding and gaining all the weight back that they lost if not more 😞in the short period of time. . . Guys I’ve been that girl. Yet another girl I’ve been is the crash exerciser. This is someone who goes into a work out as a source of punishment to burn off calories and only lose fat. This usually looks like the cardio bunny or someone who feels like they need to punish their body after eating “bad foods” . . This leads to a very poor relationship between the gym and your body. I see this a lot as a trainer, and have experienced it myself. I use to be the girl who would feel the need to do hours of cardio after eating a certain food 🍪 I would dread the gym sometimes and felt like a slave to the treadmill... . . I wish I could go back in time and pull that cardio equipments plug 🔌 I was setting myself for failure and rebounding bad with weight gain . . So let’s say you are a crash exerciser. . I encourage you to first write out your goals of what you want to achieve with working out. If it’s because you want to punish your body after eating something bad, you’re uncomfortable in your skin then ➡️ you are starting your fitness journey off on the wrong note. Not that! you’re possibly setting yourself up for a very poor relationship between exercise, the gym, your body, food and feeling like a slave to a number on the scale. . . Extremes don’t work, and don’t last. What does work is sustainability and balance. Going to extremes when it comes your diet and exercise will not give you the results you want. I want you to think about where you see your self one year from now, five years from now, and 30 years from now. If it’s not realistic now what’s the point in doing it. . . When my wife decided to join wellness mode she asked me to join with her but I said no because I didn’t feel I needed it. But I supported her choice. She began to cook healthier meals for herself and our family. As the days went by I started to see and feel a difference. I wanted to support her completely so I ate with her and she prepped for me. My career requires me to try new food and experiment with new ingredients. But I supported my wife in her new lifestyle change. We motivated eachother even my 4 year old daughter got into and would ask if she can eat healthy things to. I’m so glad my wife found this program because of her and wellness mode my whole family is healthier. I lost 32 lbs that I didn’t realize I needed to lose until I saw the change in myself. Seeing her being so motivated has made me motivated. It’s made us healthier parents and has brought us closer so thank you wellness mode

SQUASH (1) Cut the squash in half and remove seeds (can roast them with a bit of salt) (2) Brush oil on the inside of the squash and top with a bit of salt and pepper (3) Place squash facing down and roast for 35-45min (4) Use fork to scoop out insides which turn into spaghetti !! . . We topped out spaghetti with chicken mince cooked with diced tomatoes + brown mushrooms + olives + basil + onion + garlic + chillies + salt & pepper. Maybe a friend or family member told you that they stopped eating bread and rice and lost 20lbs in a few of weeks. ⁣⠀ 🍞But what if I told you that you could absolutely keep carbs in your diet AND lean out at the same time? All of my online clients eat lots of carbs and are still losing fat. And I eat plenty of them too (my favorites are oatmeal, sweet potatoes, bagels and berries). ⁣⠀ 🍠How can this be? Follow these three simple, ultra-secret steps to keeping carbs in your diet. ⁣😉 ⁣⠀ 1️⃣Eat carbs ⁣ 2️⃣while staying in a deficit.⁣ 3️⃣Repeat steps 1 and 2 for life. ⠀ 🥯The only way to lose fat is to be in a calorie deficit (consuming less calories than you need). And the best ways to consistently adhere to that deficit are to 1) minimize feelings of deprivation, and 2) maximize enjoyment. 👏👏👏⁣ ⁣⠀ 🍉If you love carbs & feel better eating them, it would not be a good idea to remove them entirely from your diet. Scale back on your portion sizes? Sure. Moderate your calories? Absolutely. ⠀ 🍚Instead of a heaping pile of rice, maybe cut that in half and bump up your veggie intake. Then I whipped the eggwhites a little, and when the veggies were cooked, I added the egg whites to the pan, put fat free cheese on top. Then I put the pan in the oven at 375 for 15 minutes. Tonight, thanks to @daintyandfaint I decided to make stir fry!
*VEGAN* 287 cals! Tonight, thanks to @daintyandfaint I decided to make stir fry! But one thing I dont like about stir fry is the high cals in soy sauce! Its usually 10 cals per 15 ml(depending on brand) but I made one that is 10 cals for about 70mL!! Or 72 grams (1 serving) is 10 cals. You can add more or less and refrigerate for later use(: The details are in the slides, just swipe on through(: -For this dish, I highly recommend cooking your carrots first before you add any other veggies, or they will be crunchy n more on the raw side, which obviously is okay bc its just VEGGIES😍 -Also, usually in stir fry is rice! Another starchy food that's not my fave! So instead I cooked cauliflower, threw it in the food processor and made cauliflower rice!! So good n way better for you. -I added the spices turmeric, salt, pepper, and curry(: -In the slide that explains the ingredients for the alt. Soy it says seasonings, that seasoning was blackened fish seasoning. -I think I explained everything! (: Please message me if you have questions, comments, ideas, etc!(: ❤❤❤
