Field work! One of the best ways to get some variety in your training is to grab a couple implements and head out to a field ☀️🏋🏽‍♂️. I find this to be the best place to let go of structure and let imagination set in. The effect of being under the sun, and connected to the ground also has a synergistic tonic effect on wellbeing. Movements that you have become accustom to on the solid floors of the gym take on a completely different character and timing when performed on grass. If you are a field sport athlete or looking to transfer your training to outdoor recreation, l recommend doing at least a couple strength training sessions a week outside in a field or something more specific, like a hillside. These field sessions are encouraged by Theo. What you’re seeing here is reps 31-50 of a kettlebell swing ladder I put together to finish a big pull day. A lot of volume, ballistic movement, and conditioning work is a great way to finish a big lifting day! . 🔽 Kettlebell Swing Ladder ▶️ 10 swings each, 50 swings per set ▶️ 40 kg/32 kg/24 kg/32 kg/40 kg ▶️ 4 sets, 30-45 seconds of rest . Make sure this is a hinge and not a squat! Keep the elbows tight to the body for maximum control of the kettlebell. This also allows you to load the bottom part of the swing for extra eccentric load, aka bigger, stronger hamstrings! Get out there, and start swingin’! 💪🏼

The KB swing is a hip hinge movement that trains
𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑷 𝑺𝑸𝑼𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑲𝑩 𝑺𝑾𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑺! The KB swing is a hip hinge movement that trains explosive hip extension, yet all too often I see people performing a squat motion for their swings 👎🏻 - Let me explain the difference between a hinge and a squat: 🔹️Hinge - Lots of hip flexion with minimal knee bend. Predominantly focuses on the posterior chain 🔹️Squat - Lots of knee flexion with much less hip flexion. Focuses more on quads - The video to the left shows an inefficient squat style KB swing, while the video to the right shows a proper KB swing focused on a powerful hip hinge pattern🏋️‍♂️ - If you find yourself doing a squat style swing, swipe ➡️ and try the corrective drill I demonstrate 🙌🏻 (don't try to start this drill by "hiking" the KB like I do during the swings, you'll probably just hit the band and look silly as the bell flies away from you...I know from experience 😅) - Placing a circular band around mid shin forces you to keep the KB further from the ground, which should automatically clean up your swing and hip hinging 👊🏻 - Tag a friend whose swing looks like 🗑, and comment below with any questions! - #rehabwithrv#kettlebellswings _________________________________ Disclaimer: This is not medical advice. Übung 5/6 . Der Military Press . Die Technik des Press fördert eine gesunde Schultermechanik. . Sie eignet sich hervorragend, um Körperspannung zu erzeugen und fördert sowohl Koordination als auch Kraft im Oberkörper. Während beim “Get Up” an Mobilität und Stabilität gearbeitet wird und so das Fundament für einen soliden Press gelegt wird, ist der Press selbst das Bewegungsmuster für eine gesunde Schultermechanik. . Der Press beginnt nach dem Clean in der Rack Position ( sieh der Post von 18.01.) und folgt einem Weg, der an der Buchstaben “J” erinnert, bis der Arm mit der Kettlebell vollständig durchgestreckt ist. . Wichtig ist, dass der Unterarm ab der Rack Position senkrecht bleibt. . Stelle Dir beim Press vor, dass Du Dich selbst in den Boden drückst. This is just a fun way you can link your feet to your hands and also create Ambidextrous movement patterns ‘via shadow boxing 🥊 ‘ we are seeing so many of the great combat sports athletes like lomachenkovasiliy and my favourite UFC fighter of all time stylebender . Dynamic ground tension creating stability and ease of movements. Why the stick? I’ve found most have an imbalance as they only push their punches 🥊 can only also go forward, that’s dumb in fighting , and it’s not how efficient human movement works either . It’s always Push-Pull-Rotate with level changes and angle in a 360 degree world 🌎. Why the band on my leg ‘Old habit that must die from Muaythai so I can surf better one day 🤣 I hope . So they call it a boxing 🥊 ring ⭕️ but it’s a square? A square can get you into trouble in boxing or combat sports, getting cornered is sometimes the worst! Think of the ring as a circle ⭕️. You will be a much better athlete in any sport especially combat sports. Enjoy. Don’t worry about speed or power yet or even the punch 🥊 ! That’s easy. Non ci sono pedane vibranti, macchinari o calciatine a terra o in piedi (che spesso purtroppo vedo nelle palestre) che reggano minimamente il confronto! Accorgimenti: - la lunghezza del passo deve essere tale da permettere di avere entrambe le gambe piegate circa a 90°. Nello specifico la tibia della gamba dietro parallela e molto vicina al terreno e quella avanti perpendicolare allo stesso! - il ginocchio della gamba avanti non deve superare la punta del piede! - che lo facciate con manubri, bilanciere o a corpo libero il busto va tenuto eretto e non dovete schierare ne in avanti ne indietro! Buon #legday! 🇬🇧- FRONT LOUNGE - Boys and especially girls, this is a fundamental exercise to develop strength, balance, explosiveness on the lower body and to improve the hypertrophy and aesthetics of legs and gluteous!
