All you need is 1 kettlebell. I really like 1 weight for squats/ Glute work because the asymmetrical load is MUCH harder to balance & works my core a LOT more. Hardest move: Farmer Squat - try it out you’ll see. 👍🏽 This workout took me 20 mins with little rest between, 4 rounds of each, 10-15 reps or once form went to crap. My Glutes are on 🔥 now!

A lot of people were wondering what competition I entered last minute while we w
A lot of people were wondering what competition I entered last minute while we were in Finland. (I did it because A. it was there, B. I love a challenge, and C. we had a little extra time to burn before the guys had their huge Strongman contest) It's called Kettlebell Sport and there are a few different variations of competition. In this contest we chose between 24kg or 28kg kettlebells (I picked the 24kg because I've never done this before 🤷‍♀️) and we had to clean and jerk each rep for 4 minutes straight and could only switch hands 1 time in mid air. Basically if the kettlebell touched the ground you were done. I really, really like this sport and will be adding it to my training because it's extremely good conditioning work! Thanks to @velipekkakauhanen for making a call and helping me enter the contest! Also thanks to @strongfiilinki and @pelander_ and their team for coaching/competing with me. You all made me feel very welcome! 😊 My friends @tycott@cottonsense and @lilmelliemel all cheered and kept time which was super helpful! Also, my amazing husband @hangryhangrymitcho treated this as importantly as he would if I were competing in one of the most important contests of my life. He's freaking awesome!! All the reps for one exercise are completed before moving on to the next exercise in the sequence. Here's an example: Kettlebell Clean x5 Kettlebell Press x5 Kettlebell Squat x5 A chain is a series of exercises performed in a sequence where each exercise is completed once before the sequence is started again for the specified number of reps. Here's an example: Clean + Press + Squat x5 How do they affect the body differently? A complex builds more local fatigue due to completing all reps of one exercise before moving to the next. This means your overall work is limited by your weakest exercise and will determine what weight you use. A chain spreads the fatigue more over the whole body and can allow you to do more work overall due to having a brief rest between exercises since you are only doing one rep at a time. You can even do a chain in a complex. Clean + Press x5 Squat x5 There are endless possibilities with exercise selection and rep schemes, and some can get real nasty. This style of training is also time efficient allowing a lot of work in a short amount of time. We recently had a member @classicnewman complete a 6 week program using one complex 3 days per week with 24kg bells. He lost over 4 total inches and actually gained almost 3 pounds on the scale. He also was able to press 2x24kg bells for 20 reps! AND he did nothing to change his diet. Complexes can be very intense and powerful. If you have never done these, start small and don’t bite off more than you can chew. We use complexes and chains often in our training. If you’re looking for a brutal arm finisher/super set try the bottoms up trap bar longitudinal hold into bottoms up trap bar floor press. I originally got the bottoms up longitudinal hold idea from @dr.joelseedman_ahp after seeing him have an athlete do it with kettle bells. I tried the KB version and loved! Gave the trap bar idea a run and it smoked me! If you don’t have access to a trap bar this can be done with kettlebells as well either both at the same time or single arm. Just make sure on the longitudinal hold to keep the elbow under the shoulder and create an L shape with your arm to make it as hard as possible. On the bottoms up press, pause the weight off the ground and hold it their for 1-2 seconds. This is a killer arm challenge with an added core & grip challenge as well 👍💪👊

Não só pode como DEVE praticar exercícios para ir melhorando da osteoporose. 📝A Osteoporose é uma doença caracterizada pela perda e enfraquecimento da massa óssea podendo ser antecipada pela osteopenia.📝 Para renovação dos ossos são necessários alguns tipos de estímulos como: pequenos impactos sucessivos como na corrida ou pulos e a musculação. O osso tem seu genótipo que determina sua estrutura. O estresse mecânico (exercícios) é localizado. Cada osso têm tanto seu limiar específico para estresse mecânico para assim gerar hipertrofia quanto têm respostas locais devido ao estresse e assim tendo respostas gerais no grupo esquelético inteiro, só que a nível de cálcio. Quando se tem o estresse mecânico em um local específico e nesse local a dieta de cálcio for inadequada, o corpo responde com mobilizações de cálcio de outros lugares que têm menos estresse mecânico. No nosso corpo existe um tipo de tecido modelador que estão sob a forma de vigas ou hastes que se chamam Trabéculas. Uma das funções das trabéculas são de reforço mecânico. Nos ossos temos as trabéculas ósseas que se alinham conforme a direção da carga imposta provocando alterações na estrutura óssea deixando a mais forte na direção que a carga predomina. Sabe se que quanto maior o esforço mecânico maior será a movimentação de cálcio para aquela região consequentemente a reorganização da estrutura óssea para suportar cargas mais altas mais tarde. Bird dogs are one of my favourite exercises.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The removal of one or 2 points of contact means you have to resist your bodys tendency to twist to find a stable position and use your glutes, abs and shoulder musculature to stabilise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 common errors I see are:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Lifting the back leg too high, probably to get a better squeeze of the glutes, but by doing so you quickly run on of room at the hip joint and start hyperextending at the low back and/ or rotating the hips. This completely takes any ab engagement away and by stacking the hips vertically, you minimise how much your glutes have to work to aid stability. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instead, reach back with your foot, imagine trying to hit a wall behind you and aim for a straight line from shoulders to heel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Shrugging the shoulder on the moving arm to initiate the arm movement. This is indicative of an inability to use your mid back to rotate the shoulder blade into proper position. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can use a double edged approach here of practicing the movement where you simply lift your hand an inch or 2 off the floor, and add some work to strengthen your mid back. This type of exercise is great for not only developing shoulder strength but stability and range of motion at well. Having the kettlebell instead of a dumbbell offers a different feel to an already great movement. Make sure when you’re doing these to •brace your core. •keep your weight directly above you, not falling to the front or behind you. •pick a challenging but stable weight. •BE PATIENT! I just wanted to share my progress with this, I've been doing kettlebells for some weeks now and I'm really impressed with the results so far even tho I've been for a small amount of time. When I reach to my goal I will put side to side to compare the full change. Eating "healthy" combined with a good workout will get the results that you want, you just need to keep going! :) If you are like me and find a regular gym very boring and not motivational at all, I recommend you to enroll to some classes. LANDMINE PRESSES 💥💪🏼💥 Build resilient, strong, and sexy boulder shoulders with these @perform_better landmine press variations! 💥💪🏼💥 Tall kneeling landmine press will engage the glutes and abs as working from the knees doesn’t allow for help from your legs. Get set up in a with your knees shoulder width apart, slight forward lean in the torso, and the bar end a few inches from your working shoulder. 🎉 Sniff some air into your abs to brace and drive the bar to lock out. Control the decent by thinking about the down portion like a row instead of letting gravity do the work. 🤸🏽‍♀️ Be sure to not over extend at the top and jam your shoulder into lockout. The beauty of the landmine is that it allows for more flexible movement in the press. 💥💪🏼💥 1/2 kneeling landmine press variation moves you into a more athletic stance with only one leg doing the ground bracing and the other pulling into the floor for support. This variation has fantastic crossover to sports because of its opposing arm and leg structure. 🎉 Set the bar up a few inches from the working shoulder, brace the abs and drive the bar to lockout being sure not to over extend and jam the shoulder joint at the top. Then row the bar back to the start position. 🏋🏾‍♂️ Split stance standing landmine press 💪🏼 This variation again has some huge cross over to sports (think jumping and throwing/catching) 💥 Spread your weight 60-40 front to back leg, keeping your heel up in your back foot to allow for more forward posture and power. Set the bar up a few inches from the working shoulder, brace the abs and drive the bar to lockout being sure not to over extend and jam the shoulder joint at the top. Then row the bar back to the start position. 🎉 Band resisted closed grip landmine press 🤸🏿‍♂️ A personal favorite, this press variation brings the pecs to the party and allows for a heavier press and subsequent pump (bonus!) 💥 Take a moderate/light band (once its pressed over head even a light band will be a challenge) and loop it beneath both feet and the bar end making a triangle. Close your grip around the bar end as if you were trying to crush the barbell. Keeping your quads locked and abs working,
