#celebrationsaturday 🎊 with Scott! "I was at my breaking point with my body, mind, and finances. At the age of 45 I was 280 lbs. I suffered from reflux, constant illness, sleep apnea, pre diabetes, high blood pressure, short temper, hypertension, and no energy or drive. I was letting life control me and barely living in every way possible and I was 'sick and tired of being sick and tired.' I was hopeless and miserable and gave in to the fact that this is the path life chose for me. I found our program through Facebook and watched my coaches page for 7 months before I reached out. Being a skeptic I balked and waited 3 more weeks before I took a leap of faith. In 6 months I lost 85lbs and truly started gain my life back in less then a year I lost 100lbs! What! I have been maintaining since October 17’. In addition to my new lifestyle of being active, working out, attempting Yoga daily, and fueling my body properly this past year . As of January 1, 2019, I have lost and additional 10lbs totaling 110. The weight loss was just a side affect of this program, I have gain so much more then health. I have gained trust, friendship, love, purpose, focus, drive, and direction. My son calls me as the energizer bunny. I am doing things around the yard and house that I would have pushed off on him. I’m am living life to the fullest. Because of our program I have developed life long habits that I live and strive for daily. TAG 1 ist geschafft, besser als ich dachte! . . 🤔da wird einem selbst wieder mal bewusst, wie sehr ich oft " NUR" aus Gewohnheit gefrühstückt habe. . . Auch DARUM will ich das mindestens 2 Monate und länger durchziehen, um Hunger und Sättigung wieder besser wahrnehmen zu können und nicht nur aus Gewohnheit zu essen. Mein Mittagessen war ein Genuss, ich habe ganz langsam und mit allen Sinnen gegessen, habe alles viel intensiver geschmeckt und genau gespürt wann ich satt war. Die Lust etwas Süßes danach zu essen war auch um vieles geringer und ich habe aus purer Gewohnheit mein Stück 🍫doch gegessen. NA UND, denn es gibt keine VERBOTE!! . . Heißhunger soll auch nachlassen, wie gesagt ich teste es an mir, um es dann weiterempfehlen zu können. Das was ich hier mache ist ja schon ein " alter Hut" 🤣, aber ich hatte noch nicht die Gelegenheit dazu😉! Zudem soll es ja auch einen #antiaging Effekt haben. Ich werde ja gaaanz bald 42🍾🍾!! . . Ich möchte auch testen, welchen Einfluss das intermittierende Fasten auf mein Gewicht hat, ich muss nicht abnehmen 🤔?? trotzdem stellt sich mir die Frage, tut sich das was?? . . Gewicht an TAG 1➡️ 47,8 kg. Nächste Kontrolle in genau 7 Tagen✌! . . Ich bin gespannt wie es weitergeht, vielleicht kommt ein Einbruch😩😩, vielleicht auch nicht. Ich werde verschiedene Möglichkeiten durchtesten, es geht nämlich auch➡️am Abend früh zu essen, um dann wie gewohnt frühstücken zu können....wichtig ist nur 16 h keine Nahrungsaufnahme!! . . I started the workout tired and bleh; I was feeling like today was gonna be 🍰 and not worth doing. I was so WRONG! Every workout is a piece of the puzzle 🧩 and without it, it wouldn’t be complete. I ended the workout feeling great! I’m energized, my muscles are stretched and I’m feeling so positive. Shaun T is so great at pushing you mentally and changing your whole thought process around. People ask me how do I stay so motivated to hit your goals. ••• The truth is I don't.•••My fitnesss journey has never been perfect. ••• I've come a very long way from when I began and most people aside from my husband have not seen the ups and downs. People sometimes seem annoyed or jealous almost like they think that because I am a trainer I am always motivated, I have always looked that way, it’s just easy for me, I’m just a confident person. ••• NO, 100% not true. I have to work as hard as everyone else. The thing is through the ups and downs of my #transformationjourney I have found out how to discipline myself to reach my goals. ••• 🔹Discipline is a not a sexy word like motivation but it's the key to constancy and that's where you see the big results. •••No one ever PR'd on a marathon or deadlift by motivation alone. They were disciplined enough to train day in and day out. To sacrifice time on other things to make their goal a reality. Não possui em sua composição adoçantes artificiais tais como sacarina, aspartame, ciclamato e sucralose. 👉🏻Morangos bem lavados e de molho, pode ser com bicarbonato de sódio, com vinagre ou limão. Misture 1 colher de sopa de um dos três em 1 litro de água. Coloque os morangos e deixe 15 minutos. Got a busy day ahead of me so no time to lay in bed enjoying the warmth. Today was definitely a "rise and grind" day but I'm so glad that I had 2 hours down by 7:15 this morning. Now, I can start giving back to others without feeling like I have lost myself. Before you can do anything for anyone, you have to be in a mental surplus. A little bit of exercise, a few days a week, helps bring about that surplus. Everyone was a beginner at one point; so, don't worry about how you look. It's never too late (or too early) to start building that surplus so that you can take care of your loved ones and others who may need a healthy you. We met some amazing people last time around and are looking forward to seeing some new and familiar faces again today! Lexi is bringing some Skittles to give to the fellow walkers this time. #REDJanuary : Day 16 - Evening Run 🏃🏻‍♂️ ♥️ I finished today strong with a fairly easy-going run. With going back to work recently I had taken today off to allow myself and my body to recover so have not done a huge amount by my high standards. It’s important to rest when you need to, but I also know what is good for my mind... and what is good for my mind is to finish the day with a short run. I prefer to run either early in the morning or later in the evening because these are the times of day when I struggle the most mentally. Running is a form of therapy for me.. it allows me to unwind, let go, and burn off any negative energy. I always feel so much better after a run - even the shorter ones. Today my mind completely drifted off and has inspired me to write something this evening. It’s amazing how your mind can drift off in to the strangest places. Running/Exercise can do that - it can inspire creativity and deeper thinking as well as being a good distraction from the stresses of day-to-day life! I am now going to start work on writing.. I met Craig a couple of weeks ago on a walk organised by Dorset Mind to support the Red January initiative. Craig opened up to me about his own mental health struggles and now it has inspired him to now work for a charity very personal to him and his own journey. It was a privilege to meet him and join him again this evening. It’s great that a good cause is able to bring people closer together! To me it’s a form of meditation - a way to de-stress and let any anxious thoughts drift away in the water. By focussing solely on breathing and counting it puts my at times, overactive mind at ease.
