Clearly I’m not wearing workout clothes (even though I live in them)😆 Truly, there’re PLENTY of ways to exercise and get some movements into your daily routine. . . People first answers to eating healthy or exercising it’s always, “I have NO TIME!” Unfortunately you’ll have to find time to take care of yourself when you become ill. Why not start taking care of yourself now so you can continue to live a nourished and healthy life 💞 . . This photo was taken in New Orleans, this day, instead of thinking, “damn I didn’t workout today” I thought, “what a great day to spend walking with friends while exploring the city” Truly all comes down to finding things you enjoy doing- not because you have to but bc you like to 💙 . . Enjoyed eating & drinking ALL the things on vacay last week, but feels great be back on a meal plan to properly fuel my body! Threw together a quick buffalo pork loin sandwich with broccoli & grapes for lunch today. 😋 I’ve been getting lots of questions about the meal plans that come with our year of workouts: Is it complicated? 👉🏼Nope, I’m a small town girl with no access to Whole Foods, Sprouts or any other fancy stores! If you can read a food list & buy simple groceries then you can do this. 👉🏼Do you count macros? No. I have tried that in the past, but I’m too ocd & found myself counting things over & over again all day long. I did the same thing when I tried weight watchers. 🤦🏼‍♀️ This plan will teach you proper portions & how much food you need each day, and you choose what & when you want to eat. 👉🏼Do you have to give up alcohol? I shouldn’t even have to answer this based on how much I post about drinking. 🙊 Obviously, how often you drink should be based on how quickly you want results, but I’ve been doing this for a year & half & I still drink alcohol & I still get results. My current plan even has a treat day built in! #winningatlife 👉🏼Do I have to give up certain foods or go low carb? No no no & honestly I never recommend this approach. Are you really willing to go through the rest of your life without bread? Or pizza? Or cake? I am NOT! Diets are unsustainable but healthy lifestyles are worth it! 👉🏼Do I have to be a chef? Absolutely not. Everyone in my family will vouch for the fact that I hate cooking. But this is simple & easy enough for me to get it done & get back to the things I love. And if you do love to cook you will love the cooking show & 1,000s of recipes that come with your meal plans! 👩‍🍳 👉🏼Any more questions? Creo que a esta receta sí o sí con la maravillosa idea de @floren_h se le tiene que llamar el cementerio de las calorías 🤣🤣, porque además de tener un aire, no tiene apenas calorías y tu paladar morirá de placer! Son unas magdalenas muy pequeñas y una crema de plátano riquísima. Para las magdalenas:. - 1 huevo. - 100 ml de claras. - 120 gramos de harina integral. - 20 gramos de harina sabor chocolate. - Stevia al gusto. - 200 ml de leche. - levadura en polvo. . -Añadimos a un bol las claras, el huevo y la leche, se baten bien y se van añadiendo las harinas, se vuelve a batir y se le pone la stevia y la levadura. Para la crema de plátano; - Ponemos un plátano y unos 70 gramos de queso fresco y lo batimos bien. . . Más adelante le podéis poner coco rayado por encima a las magdalenas como en la foto y están increíbles, y en la crema de plátano trozos de chocolate puro, mínimo de un 70%-80% de cacao y lo que queráis si le queréis añadir más cosas como trozos nueces etc. ¡Y listo! . . . . . . #food#foodgasms#foodpicsdaily#foodporns#foodie😋#fitnesspro#fitnesslovers#fitnessfoods#healthylifestyles#healthyfoods#healthyrecipeswithlove#photooftheday📷

I used to exercise to look good. I used to fad diet to look good. Sure, exercise makes you look and feel healthier, but that’s not why you should do it. Now, I exercise to take care of my mind. Now, I fuel my body with whole foods to treat it well. I feel stronger than ever and more confident than I could imagine because I started doing what was right for my body and soul. INGREDIENTS  1 cup low-fat sour cream

Todays Dish - Lemon Salmon INGREDIENTS  1 cup low-fat sour cream  3 Tbsp plus 2 tsp fresh lemon juice  1 tsp grated peel, divided  2 Tbsp honey  1 Tbsp plus 2 tsp olive oil  2 Tbsp chopped onion  6 (oz) salmon fillets 1½ cup salad greens  4 tsp each dried dill and tarragon DIRECTIONS Whisk sour cream, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, and ½ tsp lemon peel in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside. Whisk honey, 1 Tbsp olive oil, onion, 2 Tbsp lemon juice, and ½ tsp lemon peel in an 11 x 7 x 2–inch glass baking dish. Add fillets; turn to coat. Cover; chill up to 1 hour, turning fillets occasionally. Set rack in top third of oven; preheat to 400°F. Line baking sheet with nonstick foil. Transfer salmon to sheet. Roast until opaque in center, about 14 minutes. Toss greens with remaining olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs. Place 1 fillet on each of 6 plates with salad. I’ll have to share some of my favorite Hummus Toast toppings soon. At the moment, I love to top it with Charred Eggplant and Tahini 😋 - I love cheap, filling, meals. These are the types of meals that sustained me during my extra broke days. Interested in the cheat’s guide to weight loss? Read on…… There are no shortcuts, it takes months not weeks. Here are some manageable tips. Exercising without a healthy diet will NOT lead to long-term weight loss. Aerobic (cardio) exercise such as running for atleast 45 minutes, 5 times per week, combined with dietary change can lead to ~ 9-13Kg weight loss, compared with 0-2Kg with exercise alone. Short-term fad diets are not sustainable. Instead opt for healthy life-long dietary changes. Here are a few simple tips to get started: Find out your rough daily calorie requirement (on average 3000 calories for men, 2000 for women). For safe weight loss of 0.5 Kg (1lb) per week, aim for a daily deficit of 500 calories. More on calculating daily calorie needs in future posts. As most of us tend to underestimate our calorie intake, here is my rule of thumb: Restrict calories for main meals to 600 (men), 400 (women) Restrict calories for snacks to 100 (fruit, nuts, even chocolate covered rice cakes or look out for under 100 calorie ranges) Make breakfast and lunch substantial meals and the evening meal lighter and earlier.
