Gym Lower Body GLUTE focused Workout 😀 Warmup 5-10 minutes: light cardio (stairmill for me) + band activation exercises using Gains in Bulk @gainsinbulk bands (squats, kickbacks, side walks) 3 sets of each circuit. All circuits are SS (supersetted) meaning back to back exercises then rest 60 seconds 😁😅 A) Reverse Hack Squat 15x reps (or sub other squat) + Bench Side Step Ups 12/leg B) Barbell Deadlifts 8x (about 60-70% of 1RM) Bench hip thrusts with band 15x Seated banded abductions 15x C) Kneeling Glute Kickbacks using the Reverse Hyper Pendulum (or can sub cable kickbacks) 15x leg D) Banded Monster Walks 12x leg + Weighed Hip Thrusts, feet wide & toes out (3sec hold) 12x E) KB Single Leg RDL 10xleg + Low lunge pulse to kickback 10x leg KB Swings 15x Stability ball hamstring curls 15x 5-10 min cool down/stretching Total time including Warm up & Cool down was 65 min for me! 🤗 I use my Gains in Bulk @gainsinbulk Pre-Workout NO Chews before my sessions. I’ve mentioned this before and I’ll mention it again because I think it’s important. This is not the first time I’ve lost a lot of weight. In 2015 I trained and completed a half marathon and lost 78 lbs. I thought I was eating healthier but really I was eating a high sugar low calorie diet during the week and having a massive binge on the weekends when I had my long runs. After the half marathon I started to gain the weight back and the binging was worse. Babygirl could be here anytime now 🥳🥰Where has the time gone 🤷🏻‍♀️ ————————————————Today I am grateful for my body, for growing a little human and still having the strength to let me train on the days I feel like it (usually 3/4 very light weights and walking) Such simple things like going to the gym everyday (before I was pregnant) being super strong, having loads of energy, not getting out of breath walking up stairs 🤣 the list is endless but they were definitely taken for granted! More than anything else I feel like pregnancy is a massive learning curve that changes perspective, making you see life and appreciate it on a whole new level. You definitely worry less about things that before seemed so relevant before. Thank you @heckrules for always being my rock every single day, especially on the days when I sit and cry for absolutely no reason at all 😂❤️
