Photo on the right. My health + fitness journey began 7 years ago. Making the decision to start was the best thing I ever did. I’m not the same girl anymore. I took small daily steps & actions that became habits. . 2 years into my fitness journey, I felt I had found my calling...the reason I had went through everything I did. I again wanted to share with others what had helped me, be their support system, motivate them to take that step to start, help them feel as good as I felt & show them what they were capable of because I believed in them. If I could do this they could do too, they just needed someone to help believe in them & push them a little. . My passion is still helping women realize their strength & feel better about themselves. Helping them feel empowered & realizing their strength comes from within. Its already inside you, you just have to harness it. That’s what my fitness journey has done for me. I found a new mindset shift, I gained a new belief system in myself..I became the best version of me. . It’s been an incredible journey. 😍. And I love helping others, I love adding value to them & being apart of their health & fitness journey too. I never knew when I made the decision to begin, where it would go, but I am truly thankful I made the decision. 😁 . hit some abssss today 💪🏼 i woke up early again to get to the gym (i was back less than 9 hours later since i left last night whoops!!) and i gotta say these morning workouts might be growing on me, it’s so nice to get it out of the way for the day!! i did the stairmaster for 20mins to get my heart rate up and then went through 2 ab circuits before i had to speed home to shower, go to class and hit the books for the rest of the day🤓📚

WARNING: LENGTHY READ/VENT AHEAD I hate that there are times where I hate my body. I hate that I’m constantly comparing my body to someone else’s. This is so bad because I will never have someone else’s body no matter how hard I try. I’ve learned constantly comparing myself to someone else is the worst thing I can do because I’ll always end up disappointed. I literally can never be/look like anyone other than myself so why do I try so hard to be/look like someone else? Even in taking this picture I tried so hard to get the “best angle” - why can’t I love my body from all angles? I don’t have abs, I’m not the most toned person in the world, I’m not super curvy, I am a bit pudgy at times but what the heck is wrong with that? Absolutely nothing. I need to embrace the body God blessed me with and I need to do it all times; not just when I wake up and haven’t eaten in 10+ hours & not just when I’m looking at pictures of my good angles. I no longer will workout/eat healthy to look a certain way. I will workout/eat healthy for the sole purpose of being healthy. I will love my body♥️

My muscles are warmed up and ready to go and you greatly avoid injury. . . And if you swipe right, you’ll see that I think it’s important to stretch your hammies! I was having some pain on one side of my glutes while squatting and someoneee told me stretch! Once I started stretching the pain subsided. 👍🏽 So make sure to do these two things if you’re trying to grow da bootyyy. Photo on the right is my recent photoshoot and the left is the week of my first bodybuilding competition in March 2018, yes I’m lean, but girls this is not maintainable year round, as females we are supposed to have more body fat, it’s not healthy to be 10% body fat, it can affect your hormones, slows vitamin absorption, weakened bones, cause memory and concentration problems, and long term infertility. . . . When you see these girls on stage in a Competition don’t be fooled that this is their year round body. Sure it’s aesthetically pleasing but it is not healthy for females especially, to be so lean for to long, we naturally hold more body fat than men for a reason. . . . So next time your scrolling through Instagram or Facebook comparing yourself to all the fitness models out there just remember these are either old photos, or if they are maintaining that low body fat year round chances are they are doing long term damage to their health both physically and mentally. . . . Be inspired by other for sure but don’t be fooled by what you see not everything in the internet is as it seems. . . . My mission is to inspire as many women as possible to be confident in their own skin, to rock their bodies, to be strong in training and even stronger in life. I will always be honest with my journey because I believe sharing the truth will help other women see that it’s ok to be raw and natural and not pretend to be someone your are not 🥰🥰 much love to you all Tam x

So I wrote an absurdly long caption and deleted it... here’s the Sparknotes version: Today was a LONG, CRAZY DAY! I was in and out of court all day and was totally off of my flow! Breakfast was cottage cheese and spinach on the road, lunch usually is an @eatcleanbro meal prep at the office, but today was an on-the-go day, so I ordered turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a roll 💀 the roll KILLED me, and I ended up ripping it apart (partly because of carbs, but mostly because I hate poppyseeds 💁🏻‍♀️). I got stuck in WILD BROOKLYN TRAFFIC and got to my HIIT class 15 mins late — I felt so guilty that I stayed for a second class. While at the gym, I realized that I drank ZERO water all day, and was surviving on coffee all day. When I finally got home, I had the Plain Jane (thank god for ECB) and finally sat down and relaxed (before starting to study) 😂 I was so afraid to log my food today on @loseitapp because I thought I f’ed up my day FOR SURE, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that I killed my workout AND HIT MY MACROS! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Looking back on my day to figure out how I possibly stayed within my macros, I realized I made smart little choices throughout the day — homemade breakfast instead of a breakfast sandwich from Starbucks, black cold brew instead of a latte, light string cheese instead of a bag of chips, TWO HIIT classes instead of saying “I’m so late, might as well not even show up!” Making small smart choices throughout the day really helped me to stay on target and made me feel so much better about my day! For others struggling with a healthy lifestyle change, it’s not impossible! Wir haben im „Drei Besen“ gefrühstückt, ein Butterbier getrunken, sind durch die Winkelgasse & Hogsmeade spaziert, waren in Zonkos Scherzartikelladen, bei der Eulenpost... . Außer Harry Potter gab es auch noch Springfield, Transformers, Die Minions, Kung-Fu Panda uvm. . Heute fahren wir nach Santa Monica und Venice ☀️🌴. .
