Unfortunately, when people go for a long time without having all 5 of these needs met, it becomes difficult for them to begin to allow for these needs to be met.@forbes ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The truth is, we humans have all sorts of routines in our day to day life and some of us have deeply rutted ones that will resist change when it is offered to us. 3 yrs ago after fainting by my desk numerous times, waking up constantly in a bad, and crying in the restroom at work I STILL didn't agree that I was overworked or needed more sleep. when my system completely shut down and my new crying destination became a mental health institution, I finally began to understand the consequences of working hard for far too long under bad circumstances. Listen, burnouts are no joke and neither is mental illness, so please be conscious about your health standards and make them non-negotiable. #HustleWell💛
