All jokes asside what I'm trying to say is: not everything you see online/on instagram is real! People use all sorts of tricks, poses, angles, filters, photoshop, and so on to make them look better. I really needed to repair my diastasis recti. It took about 2 weeks before I found my transverse abdominal muscles and had that AHA moment. #sweatyselfie 💦 If I was off on a holiday years ago, I’d spend the day sleeping til 2 pm and then binge eating whatever food I could find in the kitchen cabinets. Literally- that was my entire day. I lived for sleeping and eating to dull the pain of the trauma I had suffered through. Flash forward to now— the new and improved me slept in til 9 am today, then got up and did an hour and a half workout. ON. HER. HOLIDAY. OFF! #noexcuses I did a full 60 minutes on the elliptical (not my best time, but I still deserve a freakin’ medal! 🏅😆) + 15 minutes yoga + 15 minutes weightlifting. So proud of the person I’ve become. HOK Pepper Beef Soup

6 cups beef stock
1 cup coconut aminos 
1 tbsp hot sauc
HOK Pepper Beef Soup : : 6 cups beef stock 1 cup coconut aminos 1 tbsp hot sauce 6 diced bell peppers 2 lb ground beef 1 cup fresh salsa 12 oz shredded cabbage 1 tbsp Garlic Powder 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning 1 tsp onion powder Salt & Pepper : : 1. Combine beef stock, coconut aminos and hot sauce in a large pot on medium heat. 2. Sauté diced peppers in bacon fat (you can use butter or another cooking oil) 3. Once peppers are cooked, add to soup pot. (You can add them raw to pot, but this was is a bit quicker and adds more flavor) 4. Cook ground beef in bacon fat and season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. 5. Do not drain meat, add it directly to the soup pot and bring to boil. 6. Turn heat to medium and add in fresh salsa and shredded cabbage. 7. Let it cook together and serve! ————— You can substitute bacon fat for any keto friendly cooking fat. The bacon fat obviously takes it up a notch and helps make a nice broth. If you want more broth, you can always add water about 1 cup at a time and taste to make sure you’re not diluting the flavor too much. : : Let me know what you guys think! Top photos are of my current work trousers. I’d already swapped them for one size smaller when my old ones got loose when I was doing keto. I knew I’d gotten bigger again when these stopped fitting and I went back to the bigger ones 🤦‍♀️ and stopped wearing a belt because it was too tight. Lost weight (1 stone) and now the smaller pair are too big again (yeyy!). So rather than go one size, I ordered new ones 2 sizes smaller!!! (Motivation eh?) Up until this evening they have been in the bag because they would not do up. But tonight, AFTER my evening meal, I saw them and thought I’d try them on and they did up! They are very VERY snug though and I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing them all day especially sitting down and driving. So they’ve gone back in the bag for now. I made a promise to you guys that I will post the victories and the failures. I am not going to make any excuses but I was on my cycle and when I’m on it I usually crave chocolate and fried food. 🥺. I have to say I was not making great decisions as far as eating. It’s okay though because I’m not going to quit. I am just glad I didn’t gained any weight. This is my journey and there will be bumps on the road the important thing is get back on the road and not give up. 💪🏽😊.

My dinner this evening.... right I’ve got to own up, I’ve not eaten great over the weekend and am fully expecting to have a gain tomorrow, I was hungover on Sunday and all I wanted to do was eat crisps and dip and die of a slow and painful hangover on the sofa...which I did! So tomorrow morning I’m going to take the hit on the scales whatever that may be and crack on next week with gym, water, good food and hopefully get my arse back on track!! Spicentice Persian kofta skewers. Made with 5% pork mince, and I added fried onions and mushrooms (4th picture is hubby’s plate - notice the lack of anything green 😂 I smothered mine in home made mint sauce before I took the photo 🤦‍♀️). There isn’t a single syn on this plate as the spice mix and mince are free 😍 LOADS of speed. I have used 4 syns so far today. I think I will have some melon, a hifi (3) and a kvarg (0.5) for desert which would end me on 7.5. Tomorrow is group weigh day - hence why 80% of my food today has been speed and also why the only ‘free’ foods I’ve had today are meat, fat free yoghurt, and then a few crispy potato discs. I’m up early for work, and I’m weighing in the evening tomorrow for the first time, so I hope what I eat during the day doesn’t offset any losses I might have had as I normally weigh first thing before I eat breakfast 👍 1.5L sugar free squash and 800ml Diet Coke. I’ve only had 10g of reduced fat cheese today and the new rules say I can have up to 80?!! However I’ve had the yoghurt and I’ll have a kvarg so plenty of calcium coming in. I need to tone my arms, thighs, remove my armpit fat and hip dips. I need to get ABS asap!!! All this is pending and I've been slacking ever since I went on my trip. For me, it is working out. for anyone else, it can be singing, dancing, studying and the list goes on and on. I know life is tough and there's a lot of pressure.
