📨🖋Recibí el mensaje de una chica que, como les pasa a muchos, no logra llevar a cabo una preparación para convertirse en atleta... entonces me pidió si podía postear algo referido a "qué es estar enfocado" y "cómo lograr enfocarse"👇 . Personalmente creo que el enfoque es un poco una condicion innata, tiene que salir de tu interior, no te lo pueden imponer, es como la motivación. Algunos lo logramos con mayor facilidad en ciertos momentos y otros no tanto. Cuando uno está enfocado, todos nuestros sentidos, pensamientos, emociones y acciones se dirigen a una meta. Seleccionamos una parte de la realidad a la cual decidimos priorizarla, prestarle más atención, toda nuestra energía se concentra ahí y no en otra cosa. Aprovechamos cada minuto, optimizando nuestras capacidades y recursos. . Pero para que eso pase primero hay que establecer la META y declararla PRIORIDAD. El enfoque está intimamente ligado al deseo. Si no lo logras, quizás sea porque realmente no deseas esa meta de manera tal, que todo lo que te rodea pase a un segundo plano. No está mal, sólo que todos tenemos distintas prioridades a lo largo de nuestras vidas. Entonces➡️ El primero paso sería definir la meta real, tomar decisiones y realizar acciones que te lleven a ella. Enfocarse en el día a día, vivir el tiempo presente y no llevar la mente al mañana constantemente. Establecer un orden semanal, saber qué vas a hacer cada día. Iniciar y terminar cada tarea, no saltearse cosas para no generar desorden. Aprender a hacer una cosa por vez. Hay tiempo para todo. Desconectarse de las distracciones o ponerle un tiempo límite (celular, redes sociales, apps, etc). Ser concientes de que van a surgir imprevistos o situaciones negativas (peleas con tu pareja o amigos, problemas familiares y laborales, cambios de horarios, etc) y que tenes que aprender a ser dúctil: adaptarte a los cambios sin desorganizarte y perjudicar tu meta. Si no queres perder tu foco, aprendé a decir que NO a todo aquello que te aleje de la meta. Al tener una meta clara y organización los niveles de ansiedad y frustración descienden, porque sabes que estás trabajando dentro de un proceso que te lleva a destino. . #enfoque#enfocarse

Second powerlifting meet ever (first was April 2018) bodyweight at 177.4 lbs Last lift in the meet after 6 maximal effort lifts in squats and bench ... Opened Deadlifts with a new 5.6lb PR above my last meet PR (551.1 lbs) at 556.7 lbs then went for 33.3 lb PR it on the second attempt at 584.5 lbs ( best PR in the gym was 575lbs) ... and GOT IT !!... for the 3rd Attempt and final lift of the day that started at 8 a.m ...I went for it!! The big 600 lb ...got it 3 quarters of the way but was gassed out and exhausted and failed the Attempt...😭😫 lacked speed to finish it I'm just glad I failed giving it my best shot on this day but I will get it in the FUTURE!! God willingly inshallah !! PS- what are your opinions on unsolicited advice at the gym? I think I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m fine with it if I already have some sort rapport with that person (i.e. see them all the time at the gym, small talk, gives me spots, etc) but if it’s someone I’ve never seen who “forces” it upon me, I’m turned off from taking their advice...even if it’s good.
