Today I went to see a sports therapist about my arm/wrist injury. I had acupunct
Today I went to see a sports therapist about my arm/wrist injury. I had acupuncture for the first time which was interesting and hilarious at the same time. My thumb went rogue and I had no control over it- I guess the needle was in the exact perfect spot! She also found that my whole arm and shoulder is incredibly tight so she got stuck into that too! She recommended that if I don’t see any improvement after seeing her for a few sessions, along with my physio, that I get referred to see a specialist to get some further checks done. It could be a build up of scar tissue, cartilage rebuilding in the wrong place after my TFCC injury or it could be something much less serious. Regardless, it’s been almost a year and I’m still experiencing a lot of problems. I also have next to no strength in my right hand 😰 . . . So you know what that means? No right arm for a while. So I did a super-scaled workout tonight! No Barbell cleans and no push ups! Maybe it’ll give my left arm time to catch up to my right 😂😂😂

La L-Carnitina è fondamentale per il trasporto degli acidi grassi nei mitocondri dove questi vengono poi trasformati in energia. Un migliorato metabolismo degli acidi grassi permette quindi di avere una maggiore efficacia nella mobilitazione dei depositi di grassi e, di conseguenza, una maggiore disponibilità di energia nelle attività fisiche. In Acetil-L-Carnitina è presente anche il gruppo acetile, che può essere utile nel supporto del sistema nervoso. L-carnitina è un integratore alimentare e dietetico. Five rounds of high intensity bodyweight movement needed today. Glute bridges - lie on your back, legs bent with feet flat on the floor and raise hips up in line with shoulders and knees. Slow on the way down and fast on the way up. Press ups - keep elbows close to your body for a greater tricep stimulus. Place hands on a chair or knees on the floor to make the movement easier if needed. Down ups - stand up > lie face down on the floor > spring back up to standing. Grab @sho.me.app today and see if you’re as stable as you think! # Posted @withrepost@squat_university Do you struggle with an unstable bottom snatch position? Aviahay @avihay2803 wrote to me that he was having difficulty sitting comfortably and balanced in the bottom position of a snatch or snatch balance variation as you can see with these videos.🏋🏼‍♀️ . Olympian Chad Vaughn @olychad is demonstrating a helpful progression for this issue. It starts with a snatch grip press with an elevated heel raise. This puts the lower body in a position where they can concentrate on developing overhead strength with a snatch grip. If this is easy, you can progress to adding weight and taking away the added heel raise. If taking away the heel raise hurt your pressing positions, you may need to incorporate some ankle mobility work like foam rolling and stretching the calf.✅ . If your shoulders feel stiff during this press, try this narrow grip stretch. Grab the barbell just outside shoulder width, make sure your core is braced, back flat, elbows locked pull the bar back to feel a light stretch of the shoulders for a few seconds.✅ . After these drills, work on your snatch balance without moving the feet (going slowly at first with the open barbell and increasing speed and eventually adding weight as well). After a few weeks you can add back in some foot movement for the full snatch balance.✅ . For the next 3-4 weeks the warm up for snatch day will looks like: 1️⃣Mobility work (ankles or upper body) 2️⃣Bottom snatch press at the progression you’re capable of 3️⃣Snatch Balance technique work .
