My kitchen is stocked with pumpkin, and so I must provide all the pumpkin recipes that my brain can come up with. Here I present to you - pumpkin oatmeal cookies. You can enjoy 5 for 3 points or 1 for 1 point. Up to you, but I have a feeling you’ll want 5 🤷🏻‍♀️ 1 egg 1/4 cup pumpkin puré 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce 1/4 cup self rising flour 1/2 cup oats 1/4 tsp baking powder Couple dashes pumpkin pie spice 1 tbsp marshmallow fluff (for topping) In a bowl combine all the wet ingredients. Then add the flour, baking powder, oats, and spice. Combine and then spoon 1 tbsp dollops onto a baking sheet prepped with nonstick spray. Bake at 375 for about 15 minutes or until cooked through. Once cooked, spread fluff on each cookie using 1 tbsp for the whole batch. However, I am happy to SEE progress. First of all...who knew I was rockin a double chin...my friends have been put on notice...y’all should have told me. Lol. But can we say, I will not be mourning the loss of the part that GONE?!? 5lbs, I’m sorry 4.4lbs 🙄...for someone my size is not a lot. But this picture helps me to see that ALL my hard work is paying off and as long as I keep going, I will continue to see results! 🍫My name is Angie and I’m a former sugar addict. I’ve been a sugar addict for most of my life. As a kid I would buy full size candy bars and eat at least 2 bars in one day! As I got older my sweet tooth grew. I didn’t have just one sweet tooth I had whole mouth full! I craved sweets all the time! I even had chocolate stashed in my nightstand! ⠀ ⠀ 🔑When I fully embraced the ketogenic life it helped tremendously to have keto treats as my body was detoxing from the sugar addiction. For me it’s about a lifestyle not a diet. I had to make up my mind because I was tired of feeling sick and tired! Things had to change, I had to change! So I did! ⠀ ⠀ 🌈The best part is the way I feel now! It certainly didn’t happen overnight. It takes time for the body to heal. I’m still healing! I’m also 45, going through the change of life and these hormones y’all! Whew!🥵🙃It’s a challenge some days! But when you give your body the right fuel and take away the foods it doesn’t need it really starts performing the way you want it to! ⠀ 🦷I can honestly say I’ve lost my sweet teeth! How do you eat your leftovers the following day? I may, at times, be just a little bit... extra 🙈🤷🏼‍♀️ #sorrynotsorry So when I made my lemon paprika veggie stew the other night, I just knew it could be so much more! The stew mainly consisted of cauliflower, napa cabbage, dandelion greens and cannellini beans- on its own it was incredibly delicious. However, when I pulled it out of the fridge on the following day... I couldn’t help but think about all the other things it would go with. First and foremost: forbidden rice!! The chewy texture of forbidden rice was exactly what this dish needed to make it feel like a complete meal. Then I started thinking about adding in some extra protein... and before I knew it, I welcomed some spicy marinated tofu onto the plate as well. Feeling that my dish still needed more color and crunch, I threw together some leftover radishes, cucamelons and micro greens. Finally!
