I wanted to quit after the second round, but Kym told me stories about carrying cat litter uphill and biking as a messenger in NY. I’ve done neither of those things, and listening to her made me want to keep going and finish through the fourth circuit. Thanks for pushing me on a day when I really needed it! How’s that for macro diet friendly? .... except omg this had NO taste! 😂😂 I will have to play with the recipe and toppings but I have some ideas: Pancakes - Blended 1/2 cup oats, 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder, 3 egg whites, 1/4 cup water and 1 tsp baking powder. I think I will add some salt, cinnamon and stevia next time around. Or play with another protein powder... chocolate anyone? 0 calorie Syrup: boiled water mixing in xanthan gum, maple extract, vanilla extract, stevia and salt. My wife told me not so long along that it’s great I want to make sure my family is taken care of but if you don’t take care of yourself than what’s the point? So of course she is right “ she always is “ we decide to give this challenge a go. I’ll be getting a lot of my support from all you as well. On. Fire. 🔥 Always PUSH yourself in the gym. Push more weight. Go until failure. Do more reps. Don’t stop because it hurts. I don’t think I was ready even reading it as I stopped to pace the room after some fucked up event in David’s life happened or injuries he sustained in training, or even to stop and reflect on my own life and what the fuck I really want!! His words will stay with me for a long time that’s for sure. I think everyone should read this at whatever stage of life they are in at the moment. “What would it take to reach their full potential? Our culture has become hooked on the quick-fix, the life hack, efficiency. Everyone is on the hunt for that simple action algorithm that nets maximum profit with the least amount of effort. I have debated for two days on whether or not to post this. I’m not seeing rapid results, truthfully, these pictures don’t show much of a difference. The before pictures are on the bottom. Since starting, I have lost three lbs, two inches off my waist, and my workouts are getting better. For all of you not seeing the jaw dropping progress you were expecting, keep pushing. Be reflective. I looked at my diet and realized we were underestimating calories, and I know I could have done more in my workouts. I didn't workout until late today. To say I didn't feel like it would be putting
I didn't workout until late today. To say I didn't feel like it would be putting it lightly. . . My diet has been bad the last several days and when I woke up I was really feeling it. Sluggish. Sleepy. Low #energy. Meh. And the baby has a cold and has been crying half the day, which didn't do much for my #mood. . . But when #baby took her afternoon nap I knew that was my window, or I wouldn't get a workout done today at all. After my husband gave me a #peptalk (since I was complaining that I didn't want to workout) I got ready to get to #work. . . Something #incredible happened. As I started to #move I started to feel better. By the time I finished my workout and showered I felt like a whole new person. I had some energy! I made it through the rest of the day. . . #Life happens. Sometimes you don't feel like working on your #goals. Sometimes you are #busy. People get sick. You get overwhelmed. You are tired. Something just feels kinda crummy. Your #kids are screaming all day. You're grumpy. Whatever it is that's holding you back, you can do it. Just get started (that's the hardest part) and see what happens after that. #youcandoit#justdoit . .
