#плеяды#M45#pleyades#subaru#астрофото#deepsky#космос#sky#звёзды#astrophotography#astronomy#nightsky#nightscape#nightshooters#longexposure#amazinglongexposure#nikon#skywatcher#deepspace#milkywaychasers#startrailschasers#frid_art#frid_stars#ig_dv#instarussia#instagood#khver#t_khabarovsk#fareast#khabarovsk

Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds. 7:54 Al-A'raf, Ayah 54 - #Repost@nasa ・・・ A Treasure Chest of Galaxies ✨ Our @NASAHubble Space Telescope captured this spectacular image showing spiral arms swirling in all colors and orientations, and fuzzy ellipticals speckled across the frame as softly glowing smudges on the sky. Each visible speck of a galaxy is home to countless stars. A few stars closer to home shine brightly in the foreground, while a massive galaxy cluster nestles at the very center of the image — an immense collection of maybe thousands of galaxies, all held together by the relentless force of gravity. Galaxy clusters, like the ones seen here by our NASA Hubble Space Telescope, are some of the most interesting objects in the cosmos. Their immense gravitational influence means they distort the space-time around them, causing them to act like giant zoom lenses. The light of background galaxies is warped and magnified as it passes through the galaxy cluster, allowing astronomers insight into the distant — and therefore early — universe. "For me, God is an amazing scientist and the greatest mathematician." - D.S Mathematical Universes Scientists have debated whether mathematics is simply a useful tool for describing the universe, or whether math itself is the fundamental reality, and our observations of the universe are just imperfect perceptions of its true mathematical nature. If the latter is the case, then perhaps the particular mathematical structure that makes up our universe isn’t the only option, and in fact all possible mathematical structures exist as their own separate universes. . #quantumman#converging_technology#ncbie#stem#science#scientist#research#article#nature#picoftheday#particles#physics#astronomy#maths#universe#cosmology#cosmos#knowledge#scicomm#god#love#india#space#shiva#scientist#researcher#vishnu#brahma#instascience

#repost from @astroatnight Here is the Orion Nebulae. It is clearly visible in the night sky and very easy to see even for the untrained eye. The largest star, called Betelgeuse, located on the top left, is being monitored my scientists because it might go supernova within our lifetimes. Even though it is located at over 600 light years, when it explodes it will appear like a second sun to us. The phenomenon will last a few weeks but we don't have to worry as our planet will not suffer any consequences. It will just be beautiful and extremely interesting! ▫️▫️▫️ #space#orion#constellation#nebula#orionconstellation#milkyway#photo#photograph#orionnebula#astronomy#astrophotography#betelgeuse#supernova#sun#star

#PlutoNews Pluto's escaping atmosphere extends 1,000 miles out into space .Data collected by NASA's New Horizons spacecraft reveals that the gas surrounding the dwarf planet extends as far as 1,000 miles outward into space. That's more than 13 times farther than Earth's atmosphere, which tapers off at around 75 miles above our planet's surface. At the highest altitudes, the atmosphere is comprised mostly of molecular nitrogen. Closer to the planet, methane mixes in with the nitrogen, followed by hydrocarbons at the lowest altitudes. A significant portion of this gaseous mixture is also escaping out into space — around 500 tons of material per hour. !! Comment your views below 👇👇👇👇👇👇

@nasa: It is official!!! After years of travelling through billions of miles which started its journey in 1977, Voyager 2 has now left solar system breaking through the heliopause which now became the farthest man-made object that has ever flown in the space.NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft has exited the heliosphere -- the protective bubble of particles and magnetic fields created by the Sun -- and is now flying in interstellar space. Did you know that I can not perform landings? Yet in this picture, it seems as though I stand on the barren surface of a moon. Well, that’s because this moon is extremely tiny, thus giving me the opportunity to form an incredibly low orbit without decay. More important, however, is the giant terrestrial world that I gaze upon. During my orbits, I’ve been able to thoroughly study it in detail. It has an atmosphere of CO2, only holding traces of Nitrogen and no oxygen. Even so, life is thriving unlike any other. Plantlife often takes the form of Ferns that can stretch many meters in length, and can even host ”trees” in their stems that grow only max height of three meters. The indigenous fauna is strangely indiverse, with all creatures having some physical resemblence to their neighbouring species. The most distinct feature lies in their ”heads”, all of which are shaped in a bone-like structure that look like a combination of a boar and komodo dragon skull. Apart from that, the creatures vary in size and number of appendages, one even looking strangely similar to Earth giraffes. Oh world, how lucky am I to see this? #space#astronomy#nasa#spaceengine#exploration#spacex#planets#astrophysics#science#milkyway#spaceflight#galaxy#spaceexploration#earth#hubble#technology#rocket#blackhole#stars#moon#exoplanet#telescope#universe#cosmology#cosmos#interstellar#esa#physics#scifi#sciencefiction

“Ciò che non ha termine non ha figura alcuna” Al caro Fabio. This is a Hubble Space Telescope mosaic of the immense Coma cluster of over 1,000 galaxies, located 300 million light-years from Earth. Hubble's incredible sharpness was used to do a comprehensive census of the cluster's most diminutive members: a whopping 22,426 globular star clusters. Among the earliest homesteaders of the universe, globular star clusters are snow-globe-shaped islands of several hundred thousand ancient stars. The survey found the globular clusters scattered in the space between the galaxies. They have been orphaned from their home galaxies through galaxy tidal interactions within the bustling cluster. Astronomers will use the globular cluster field for mapping the distribution of matter and dark matter in the Coma galaxy cluster. #astronomy#astronomia#astroimaging#astrofotografia#belvederebeb#deepsky#milkyway#telescope#telescopio#astrophotography#skywatcher#canon#alzagliocchialcielo#universe#universo#space#nasa#esa#sky#skyporn#stars#yourESA#ig_astrophotography#sky#nightsky#galaxy#igers#igersitalia#cielisereni#clearskies Thank you Hubble.

"Our ancient Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander astronomers have scientific knowledge which dates back tens of thousands of years...Many astronomical discoveries which have been attributed to Western astronomers in the last few centuries were in-fact long known by the people of these lands. . . . Wardaman astronomers observe that the planets are distinct from stars due to their wandering motion across the zodiac, but also because of the ways that they did not generally twinkling like that of typical stars. They were able to observe and describe the quirky phenomenon called “retrograde motion” – an effect that sees our neighbouring planets counter-intuitively change their direction of motion in our night sky . . . . The appearance of Moon haloes are used to predict the likelihood of inclement weather. Neap tides, which occur at a specific alignment of the Sun and the Moon around the Quarter Moon, are understood to correlate with less turbulent waters – the prime time to fish. We find oral traditions describing the appearance of rare phenomena like solar eclipses, meteorite impacts, and supernova, which are known to occur on a timescale of hundreds to thousands of years." - Krystal De Napoli, Gomeroi woman and astrophysics student at Monash University. This image reveals a dramatic binary star system named R Aquarii
R Aquarii Week This image reveals a dramatic binary star system named R Aquarii, located 700 light-years from Earth, as seen in 2012 by ESO’s Very Large Telescope. R Aquarii is a so-called “symbiotic binary”, comprising two stars surrounded by a large, dynamic cloud of gas. Systems like this contain two stars in an unequal and complex relationship. R Aquarii is made up of one hot white dwarf and one red giant. The red giant is losing matter to its small companion and occasionally ejecting matter in weird spurts, loops and trails, forming the intriguing shapes seen here. There is a lot going on between the performers in this cosmic double act. The red giant is a variable star, with a brightness that changes by a factor of 750 every year and three weeks. Also visible is a narrow, vertical, S-shaped feature, with blobs of superheated material moving outward at tremendous speeds of 600 to 850 kilometres per second. The agency's OSIRIS-REx probe, which just arrived at Bennu last week, has already found hydrated minerals on the 1,640-foot-wide (500 meters) near-Earth asteroid, mission team members announced today (Dec. 10). The discovery suggests that liquid water was once plentiful in the interior of Bennu's parent body, which scientists think was a roughly 62-mile-wide (100 kilometers) rock in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. (Bennu is likely a pile of rubble that coalesced after a massive impact shattered that larger object hundreds of millions of years ago.) #NASA#OSIRISREX#Space#Asteroid#Astronomy#Astrophysics#Follow#Like#SpaceX#ROSCOSMOS#ESA#CSA#AstroIntel#Bennu

50km/h winds, 8°C, 2 a.m., and a one foot tear in my pants right down the crotch. 120+ minutes, 100 shots and an uncontrollable urge to take a leak. In the moment, it felt like unreal dedication and commitment to get the right shot. Atleast by my standards of commitment. But when I got back home 2 days later and viewed the photos, I wish I'd spent another 120 minutes up there, under the milkyway. I got so many more ideas, and I realized so many mistakes that make this an imperfect shot by a mile. But that's just how photography is. It's understanding that there is no perfect shot. There just cant be. I mean, have you seen the beauty around you? And what about the beauty that you can't see? The more I shoot, the more beauty I find that I didn't shoot. And that's really what keeps me going. That, I've come to realize, is what makes me so passionate about photography. It's the urge to capture this world that I am so madly in love with. Live everyday like it's World Appreciation Day. Data obtained from the spacecraft’s two spectrometers, the OSIRIS-REx Visible and Infrared Spectrometer (OVIRS) and the OSIRIS-REx Thermal Emission Spectrometer (OTES), reveal the presence of molecules that contain oxygen and hydrogen atoms bonded together, known as “hydroxyls.” The team suspects that these hydroxyl groups exist globally across the asteroid in water-bearing clay minerals, meaning that at some point, Bennu’s rocky material interacted with water. While Bennu itself is too small to have ever hosted liquid water, the finding does indicate that liquid water was present at some time on Bennu’s parent body, a much larger asteroid. ----- Data yang baru dianalisis dari misi Origins, Spactral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security-Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx) milik NASA telah menemukan air yang terkandung didalam material target saintifiknya, asteroid Bennu. . ----- Source : NASA/Lockheed Martin/OSIRIS-REx -----

The Moon... 🌒 So far 24 men have gone beyond low earth orbit. Twelve of these astronauts walked on the Moon's surface, and six of those drove Lunar rovers on the Moon. Three astronauts flew to the Moon twice. None landed on the Moon more than once. canon1300D 70 -300usmii #moon#lunar#naturalsatellite#space#milkyway#galaxy#outerspace#solarsystem#orbit#astronomy#astrophotography#night#nightsky#nightphotography#justgoshoot#canon#canonindia#canoneos#1300d#canonlens#70300usmii#300mm#telephoto#ishootraw#photoscape#registax#india
