Getting your Vascularity/Veins to Pop?💪 - Posted about veins etc in the past but funnily enough it’s a question I get fro time to time so I’ll post again! - I have never been the most vascular of individuals, I only typically get veins around my chest area and the bottom of my stomach and over the last year have developed a pretty loyal bicep vein that comes out during my sessions!😃 - Vascularity levels vary for everyone and there’s is a number of things that play a part in how vascular each person is and can be. Below is a list of the factors that play a part in your veins coming out to play 👇 - 1)GENETICS. Some people out there are just just genetically vascular and they may never have picked up a weight in their life. Others may have been training for years and be lean and have nothing at all. Genetics play a factor in this!✅ - 2)BODY FAT %. Most of the time this will be the main one. The leaner you are the more your veins will be able to be seen through your skin. The more bf you carry, then this will be less so, generally speaking!✅ - 3)MUSCLE MASS. The size of your muscle tissue and blood vessels can play an important role in being fairly vascular. The more muscle you have the more veins you will genially have!✅ - 4)WATER. storage of water in your body will lead to you being less vascular and veins will not be as clear. I want to be completely honest with you;⠀ ⠀ This last week for me was really rough. For those who don’t know 👉🏼 I have a fatigue syndrome in my body, which makes things very hard from me from time to time.⠀ ⠀ Some of the things that I got to deal with; I am extremely sensitive to both - light and sound. Having a headache and almost feeling hungover. Sometimes having slight joint pain. And the worst thing is having no energy AT ALL.⠀ ⠀ When it comes to working out - this is helping me alot. It changes my mental state for the better. Training and working out is a big part of me and who I identify as a person, so I am losing myself completely if I don’t do it. I just have to stay woke so I don’t go overboard and do to much, or push myself to hard.⠀ ⠀ But at the end of the day; You can’t just sit there and feel sorry for yourself, nothing good is going to happen that way. Taking Advice 🤓⁣ ⁣ So today I asked for a different perspective on a OHP I was doing, I listened, learned and then applied (kinda got it😂)⁣ ⁣ But hang on, aren’t you a personal trainer.. shouldn’t you know how to do this movement?🤷🏻‍♂️ I ALWAYS want to expand my knowledge from people who perform a movement better than me, or someone that has a much better physique than me. There is ALWAYS room for improvement👊🏼⁣ ⁣ I spend a large portion of my week, learning and educating myself to not only benefit my physique but to provide an even better service to all my clients. 💪🏼 Getting back into it 💪🏼 Just trained legs after almost two weeks off from the gym following my birthday and holiday and feeling GOOD. Just a few months back I would feel super guilty if I missed a session and feel like I’d lost all my gains. Now, I feel in a much better state of mind with my training. Although I missed the gym and have been excited to get back into it, it was so nice to have a break and eat whatever I wanted, just relaxing on holiday. But now we’re back on the grind. I’m back at uni next week so won’t be going to the gym much this week as I’ll be spending time with family and friends before I leave but starting next week I’m planning on going back to training 5-6 days a week and beginning my first official bulk which I’m very excited about! If anyone has any bulking tips please share some! Fear... . . . Some people live off of it, some people are oppressed by it, and many give it meaning. Many times I’ve heard this word abbreviated as FORGET EVERYTHING AND RUN. But are we really filled with fear. See, I tend to abbreviate this word in two different ways. My was of abbreviating it are FACE EVERYTHING AND RISE, and FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL. I won’t be overcome by something that I can make minuscule or non existent if it has that potential. Isaiah 43:1 says “Don't fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase “fear not” is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We are not born with fear inside of us. So why let it control you. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. So I tell you today....BE MORE THAN CONQUERORS! . . . My First Ever Descent | Revisited ↓ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Beautiful memories at this garage. I found it out near Dallas, Texas on google earth. I remember driving by to scout out this beautiful garage and knowing it was the first one I’d top out. Over the course of an entire weekend It took me a little while to hang from the top. And when I did my body was shaking so badly, and my hands were so sweaty. I had never seen a descent done in person. So most of my learning and techniques came from watching others on Instagram. After drilling the 2nd to 1st so many times I gave it a go. It was the most surreal moment letting go from the top. I had never felt a feeling quite like it. I didn’t know it that day, but It sparked an entirely different form of training for me from then on. Parkour became as fresh in my mind and soul as it ever has been. What’s going on fam, happy Monday to you all 💫. Man is in a good mood today as the shoulder was feeling good last week during my Deload week. So going to try and finally start shifting some heavy weight again 💪. Hopefully I don’t have anymore problems going forward now, and can fully focus on this gaining phase 💯.. —— Plan of action for the week is to get back into full routine of training now, as I’ve not been in proper routine for the last week or so. So back to training 6 days a week but may change up my second leg day into more of a lower body day. This is because I may start incorporating some deadlifts into my training, but that’s just a thought at the moment and we will see come Saturday if I’m feeling it or not.. —— For now, that’s the plan for the week ahead and this is something that I will always do before starting a new week. It is so important, I think, that you plan your week out in advanced so you have a plan of action and you know what you are doing and what you need to achieve by the end of the week. Good way to make you feel organised and on top of everything, which I’m still trying to get to grips with getting my life together, but just about blagging my way through it 🤷‍♂️🤣. Oh my gosh I missed the gym so much I was in a fling the last four days for sure because well I was sick (obviously) And because I couldn’t go to the gym😭 . The gym to me is my way to escape all of the usual bull I have to deal with So, without it, I felt like I was missing something! Wer es überstürzt und zu ehrgeizig wird, wird sich definitiv verletzen und sich hinterher sehr ärgern... Ich merke wie ich stärker werde, langsam aber sicher und auch wenn es mir zu lange dauert 😂...eine Verletzung werde ich nicht riskieren. Also lieber ein längerer Prozess, dafür aber einen gesunden und heilen Körper 😁 #plancheprogress@joel_magnus __________________ 🇺🇸If you do not want to hurt yourself through training, you have to give time to the whole process. Oh and I found a gym to get in my last training session for the week. (Wasn’t a perfect session but it was better than nothing) It’s all about the choices you make. Happy first official day of fall! And perfect time for me to say that I’ve got some plans this fall. From now until Halloween, my content is going to be different posts on fitness 101 topics, and how to stay fit as the weather gets cooler and the holiday season rolls around. We going to have workouts, motivation, information, and some nice little recipes for some fall inspired dishes that will be macro friendly! Hoy se vuelve a la rutina de días dedicado a un grupo muscular, la semana pasada hice full body ya que estuvo cerrado el GYM, se pasó muy bien en las fiestas patrias, inicio de semana con ejercicios de pecho y abdominales, todas 3 series de 8 a 10 repeticiones en lo que se refiere a ejercicios de pecho y en abs 3 series de 15 a 20 repeticiones, los ejercicios que hice fueron press de pecho en banco, press de pecho en banco declinado, press de pecho en banco declinado, pull over en banco incliando con polea, levantamiento de pecho a 2 discos, levantamiento de mancuernas cruzadas, apertura de mancuernas en balón bosu, levantamiento de disco en balón bosu, plancha, encogimiento colgado de abs laterales, encogimiento colgado de abs y encogimiento de abs en banco con mancuernas. I was in two minds about sharing this but hopefully it shows what can be done if you set a goal and go after it so... here we go — After an injury over 2 years ago I lost the enjoyment of the fitness/lifting lifestyle but then back in January I decided that I wanted to get back into it - although I knew after a long time off I was essentially back to square 1. So I set myself a personal goal and just went after it. The real work has been the past 8 weeks of consistent dieting and hours of cardio (I actually like the stairmaster now, who knew?!)...all whilst managing a busy career. — I’ve learned a lot during the process and it’s given me something to build on going forward.
