Workouts that can be done from the comfort of my own home have legit changed my life. Ive officially converted!!!! 😂 I’ve been able to stick to my goals, feel more comfortable not having to workout in front of others, and experience such a peace of mind knowing that every day I can just leave work, go home to do a workout, and immediately after, shower and eat dinner 🙏🏼. . . I never believed in working out at home. I used to think that I’d never be able to workout out in the same space where I slept and ate and chilled in front of the tv. Now, a year later, I can’t imagine going back to a gym! The thought of leaving my warm apartment to get into a subway and pay big bucks to share a space with a bunch of other people who either stare at you, try to talk to you, or take one of the machines you want at the exact moment that you want to use it, just gives me a headache 😅😂. . . It feels so good to be active again! . But today’s workout was rough. I pushed myself, which wasn’t much and I’m soooo out of shape! I’m still nauseas and hungry 😂. It brings me back to when I started insanity in 2012 and died during every single workout. . Then I remember getting stronger, and stronger until I was able to increase my stamina. I remember what a badass I was during my old insanity workouts. I want that feeling back! . I know a lot has changed since then, but I REFUSE to believe that just because I’m older, a mom of two, get way less sleep, am a working mom, and live a beautifully chaotic life....that it can’t be done. . IT CAN. . Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t what I used to be, but I’ve been craving that feeling of being STRONG. . And with the help of my girls who have the same beliefs, I know this is the year I feel that way again 💜 . Side note: I’m not sure if my abdomen/uterus ever fully healed after Riley. I get these crazy pains when I do abs or get up too fast. Feels like painful round ligament pain! Anyone know if i can get this checked out? Anyone ever dealt with this??? Just like everyone else, some mornings I wake up n dont feel like I could even do a single pushup. So instead of goin against it, I will just go with the flow. By that, I dont mean staying in bed n not do anything. I will pick a movement n plan a routine that will not cause me to be further exhausted. Some may see it as being lazy but I see it as being responsible, the last thing u want to do, is a balls-to-walls kinda training n have the rest of the day feeling like shit! The movement that I perform in the video doesnt take much effort and its very easy for me to regulate the intensity. Started out very slow with a simple goal of moving thru the range of motion required and maintain a steady pace thru out. 10sets of - 10L/10R 360s - 10L/10R Single Arm KB High Pulls - 10 Forward Ball Slams I was able to do the 10sets with no rest in between just to give you an idea on the intensity.

Warm summer night, in need of some dinner inspiration?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Try this delicious quinoa salad, it's one of my favourites 😋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Plus Quinoa is a great superfood full of protein, fibre, calcium and iron and will keep you super satisfied.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 cup quinoa⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 medium sweet potato (peeled and cut into bite size pieces)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 cups rocket (or any mixed greens you have on hand)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 pomegranate (seeded) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ½ cup roasted almonds (chopped)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Coconut Oil (as needed)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 cucumber (diced)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 handful of fresh herbs: parsley, coriander, mint (chooped – optional) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 tbs olive oil⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Squeeze of fresh lemon⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sea salt & Pepper⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Directions ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Cook quinoa according to directions. Let cool completely. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We like to cook the quinoa, then remove from heat and let sit for an hour until completely cool and with a fork fluff it up.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Coat sweet potato with coconut oil and a little sea salt and cook in an oven on 180 degrees for 45 min or until golden. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Sit out to cool along with the quinoa.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 In a large bowl combine rocket, cucumber, pomegranate, roasted almonds, and fresh herbs. Add quinoa and sweet potato once cooled.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Wisk together olive oil, fresh lemon, sea salt and pepper and dress the salad, combing all ingredients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉 Top with a few extra toasted almonds.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This can be served by it's self or it can also be acompanied with a fish, chicken or lamb. 😋

Since the internet is fucking crap, this video from yesterdays #pushday is a bit delayed. I upped my game and hit 15 kilos(!) on my inclined dumbbell chestpress yesterday 😍🔥💪 felt mighty strong! Love the feeling in the pecs after that exercise, it's really awesome! 😊 Major thanks as always to my love @bjornburman88 💕 I choose to upload several videos of the same exercises, because I want to show my progress. Also another main reason is 'cuz I want to show women that you CAN grow muscles and strength without looking like a man. I know a lot of girls are afraid to lift, are afraid of looking like muscle monsters, are afraid to eat, are afraid to gain weight. Drop those thoughts.
