An easy going 50kcal - 100kcal on either will do! Create Active Range - Taking the joints about to be used through full range is key to keep injuries at bay. But, this does not mean static stretching! What's everyone up to today? I've just had a lot of my plans canceled by the thunderstorm style rain. Who'd of thought it would rain in England 😅. So I thought I'd give you a bit of gym advice about my favourite part of the workout, the cool down and stretch! I can't stress the importance of this enough in creating long muscles that are less susceptible to tear and injury. Also from a most aesthetic point of you, stretching in all its forms, including yoga and barre, creates a long lean physique. My rule of thumb is to make my cool down and stretch at least 1/6 my workout length minimum and I take a relatively intuitive approach to what I stretch making sure all muscle groups are targeted, even if I don't know I've used them, because chances are you have. Hopefully you're all having a productive week. I’m so proud of Sheba, 6 weeks in and her abdominal skin fold test has reduced from her initial reading of 25mm to just 15mm!. . . That’s a lot of fat loss and she’s on track to lose half of her start reading in only 8 weeks, and you could too!. . Her weight has gone up but she’s now smaller!.. How?.. . Effective training methodology to increase the amount of muscle and “smart” ways of burning fat at a high rate for 2 days with only 30mins of training!.. . That combined with logging her daily food consumption. Along with a dose of accountability! . . Here’s a snippet of the training we do to get such fast results and most importantly sustainable body fat reduction and maintenance. . Hamstrings and glutes are so important for your long term mobility health!.. . RDL’s (Romanian Deadlifts) is a great exercise to get them firing together in a perfect ratio to help support the femur. . In turn this helps the knee by keeping the knees hinge pattern as true as possible. . Focus on your knees using a mirror to keep it still as possible, as this will help to engage the glutes.. AIM for 20 reps 2 secs down and 2 up.. . To make this into a more intense session we’ve created this; . •20 Deadlifts and straight into 20 shoulder presses, then straight back into 20 Deadlifts and finishing on 20 shoulder presses!.. = 1 set.. break for 2 mins and go again!.. . Aim for 3 sets in total!. . . Hey guys! I’m so sorry I haven’t posted for you all week. I know I normally post every day. This morning I’m just thinking over and over what to write for you guys, whether it’s one of my real talk posts or something inspirational from the gym but then I just thought I’d be truthful because we are all human right?. Maybe you guys can relate. I’ve had such a tough couple of weeks with so much on my mind. I had to make a big decision to change something in my life which just wasn’t easy. It’s never easy knowing if your making the right choices and it’s massively effected me mentally this week. It has emotionally drained me. Its effected my sleep, my appetite and my training. I lost all focus and I have felt really low. I hate been stressed and I try avoid it as much as possible but this wasn’t avoidable. All I could do was just try carry on as normal each day working and smiling. Time will tell me if I made the right decision. So guys this stuff happens to everyone. I have fallen off track too! I’ve been MIA all week and I felt so bad. But you know what ITS OK to fall off track! It’s okay because this is life! Things happen and things get in the way sometimes which you just can’t help. You just have to be strong, fall off track and get back on it when your ready too! Don’t rush it. I just wanted to share this with you because we are all human and shit happens to us all! Just know that it is okay! I’ll be back soon 😘 ——————————————————————

The first fitness program I ever made was exactly for these reasons! This week I have been talking all about my START program and taking first steps into fitness. Future Fitness: START is a program I have designed specifically for people who want to take their first step into fitness. Future fitness START has three stages - Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. Not sure what to do or where to begin? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Here are some basic exercises just using your own body weight from the pre training week in my Future Fitness START program. The pre training week is the first week and it gets you used to using your own body to move and will give you confidence. 1️⃣ Squats 2️⃣ Lateral lunges 3️⃣ Bent leg sit ups 4️⃣ Bent leg sit up twists 5️⃣ Ab bikes 6️⃣ Push ups (on your knees to get you used to them) Give them a try at home! 🙋🏻‍♀️ ———————————————
