I'm often asked how I manage to fit in running and working so thought I would share some tips! 🕢 Make it a part of your routine. When my alarm goes in the morning, I know that I'm pulling on my trainers before my brain starts to function and make excuses. 🚗 If you're lucky enough to live close enough to work that you can include it as part of your commute, set a goal to run (or cycle) to work a few times a week. 👣 Get involved in a run club with a group of friends, you'll be more likely to commit and show up if you know that there are others doing it too. 💅 Give yourself incentives - if you stick to your scheduled sessions then reward yourself with a treat (maybe it's getting your nails done or putting £5 aside, which will quickly accumulate!). 📌 Schedule it into your diary to avoid any other conflicts which may then take priority! Let me know if you have any other tips for how to motivate yourself to exercise while you're busy working too! I started digging in before thinking to take a pic! 📸 Also made sure to pack in the protein before a busy morning at work, not sure when I’ll get the opportunity to each lunch! This bowl will deff keep me satisfied for a while! . . . ✨Filled with 1/2 cup of oats, 1/2 cup eggwhites and alittle extra water (mircowave these together for about 2 minutes stopping every 30 sec to stir) before the last 30 second mix in 1/2 scoop of protein powder! Amazing what a tiny tweak in form can do 🙌🏼. . 🏃🏼‍♀️Keep my daily steps above 10k . Had my remeasure (fat pintching) with Kristi last Wednesday where I went ⬇️ 0.9% body fat and 2.3kg on the scales ⚖️. . 🧐 My focus and determination is still really high. I am still socialising, just not drinking and making sure I’ve planned ahead and either eat a balanced, nutritious meal before I go or know I can get something suitable that going to work with my goals there. . 📚I’ve been reading #atomichabits by @james_clear this week and it’s been a great reminder about how we humans function. How to keep building on good habits and how to reduce the ones that don’t serve us very well. . 🚰Drinking about 3-4L of water a day. . 👩🏻‍🍳cooking up a storm at home. Tonight I did the Nike Training App beginners quick hiit lower body by Cristiano Ronaldo. That was definitley enough for me at my current level. I love the Nike Training App, it’s free, has workouts suitable for all levels and you can do them with or without equipment. They also demo all of the movements and give encouragement along the way!
