We’ve all done the #10yearchallenge, now who wants to do the #10weekchallenge with me? 💪🏻 I was looking through old pics for the 10 year challenge, and I came across this picture of myself. It was taken 4 years ago when I was probably in the best shape of my life, although I try to stay close to this most of the time. However, having given birth to a beautiful baby girl at the end of May last year, I still haven’t got back to where I want to be🤱🏼 Seeing this picture, I immediately felt inspired to put down whatever I was eating, and to finally take action to get back in shape🏃🏼‍♀️ I will be going on holiday at the beginning of April, so this gives me exactly 10 weeks to try and get there 🏌🏼‍♀️ Sharing this with everyone is great as it gives me extra accountability! I will be eating intuitively but carefully, obviously lots of egg white, and greens. I will be doing my usual running, military fitness and other classes that I can get to, and lots of exercise at home 🙆🏼‍♀️ Who wants to do this with me? 𝐼𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓊𝓉𝒻𝒾𝓉 𝓈𝓀𝒾𝓅 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝓉𝑜𝓇𝓎 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓈𝒸𝓇𝑜𝓁𝓁 𝓂𝑜𝓇𝑒 💕 🤗 . . . . . Coming home is so refreshing even though my jet lag is horrible. I think a lot of people assume because I was a dancer after college that I grew up being somewhat gifted, but that was definitely not the case. Until I was about 14 I was pretty terrible 😂 I wasn’t a featured dancer at my studio, and for good reason LOL. I was just starting to gain the confidence I needed to progress performance wise. While I had some natural ability and flexibility, I was nowhere near where I needed to be to actually dance professionally. I started working crazy hard, getting extra ballet technique in summer camps and extra classes throughout the year. Eventually performance opportunities popped up outside of the studio which forced me to perform at a new level. I worked my bum off. Cried a lot, laughed a lot, agonized over not having a button nose. Eventually I made a career out of dance and that led to my career in fitness; which enabled me to end my career in bars (not that that was bad, it just wasn’t my ikigai)- Moral of the story, when you find something worth the effort and it keeps you motivated and inspired each day, you are lucky. I was super lucky to grow up here in Bucks County and have the chance to dance growing up. Training abs during a bulk? _____________________________ Tbh over the last three months I’ve kinda neglected training abs, a sad fact of bulking is they slowly disappear out of sight and for me out of mind too... ideally I’d be adding 5 sets of any abs exercise onto the end of a workout once or twice a week, but I train in the mornings before work so quite often time doesn’t allow for it as I’m prioritising other exercises that add mass... however, come March they’ll have a regular slot in my program again 🔪 - #bodybuilder#gymshark66#abs
