I did my fitness assessment and I was really happy with my results, but initially one of the first questions he asked were, "What are your goals?" In to which I replied, "To build muscle, get toned." And he gave me a "which means" look - && I guess that's when I realized I've gotten to my biggest goal, weight loss; but now I really need to focus on setting individual goals towards muscle growth, not just crunches and not all one body workout at a time. I learned a lot today about the body composition and looking forward to putting it into the works!! 💪 . . I was ready to step into my health goals and found this was a super important piece in my life to scale it to the next level. ✨ Has it been easy, some days yes others no. But everyday I show up for myself. I feel great about the commitment I made to me, to my life and my goals and I am super excited to engrain this habit into my new lifestyle. ✨ I love body movement, the feeling of tired muscles and the sweat on my brow. I don’t have a 10 year photo thing as I was suffering from depression and was suicidal. Anyway, I’m over that now and I’ve gone on to do things that I’m very proud of. You are not who you used to be unless you choose to be. The key was to not own the illness and to take control of my life. Move on and let it be a thing of the past. As the mighty Descendants one said “ I woke up one day and saw it was up to me, you can only be a victim of you admit defeat”. I see lots of people selling their past and using their victim hood to make money and friends. To me, this is very bad. It is a preparatory pose for full split poses practiced on the floor. From mountain pose, the hands are brought overhead and the body bends at the hips, coming to standing forward fold. Both hands are placed on the floor, then the weight is shifted to one foot while the other leg lifts high and the torso moves closer to the standing leg. ::: | BENEFITS | 1. Calms the brain. 2.
