The way I
Day 20 Jan 23 Self note - (Long way to go, need to train Abs more) - The way I battle fatigue is by taking a day off from the gym, making sure my nutrition is on point, sleeping 6-8 hours and drinking plenty of water. On another day in that same week, I would go to the gym but this time I would change the intensity and keep it very low. For example once a week, I would take a day off, then I would train with low intensity and then with higher intensity in the same week. Now I realise how important it is to train the abdominal muscle which would help me on the days when I keep the intensity the highest! Swipe -----> ๐Ÿ‘‰โžก๏ธ - Day 17 Jan 20 (Don't be embarrassed to get a spotter) - Note to myself : Felt strong today, but I think I went a little crazy without a spotter. Yes we are all competing to be better than the older version of ourselves but we don't wanna go too crazy and injure ourselves half way in the competition. Note to self - never be afraid or embarrassed to get a spotter for maximum growth and stay injury free. Work hard but workout smart. I decided to get a little help from my sister. It's amazing how our mind plays tricks on us. I asked my sister whether she helped me or not. She said she didnt. She just pretended to help me but it was just me pushing with maximum effort. I gained confidence because there was a person behind me (my sister). Having a spotter doesn't mean that they need to help us, then what's the point ? Spottingย in weight or resistance training, isย the act of supporting another person during a particular exercise, with an emphasis on allowing the participant to lift or push more than they could normallyย doย safely. Day 16 Jan 19 (Just squats) - Not where i wanna be, Focusing on my weaknesses, want to build stronger legs and I'm seeing major difference in my body, posture and strength by doing legs 3 times a week. I'll be gradually increasing my strength in squats. Here's the reason why I'm doing more legs every week : - 1. Squats increase hormone release - 2. Squats enhance core strength - 3.
