UPDATE FROM STRANDJA: After not even knowing if I was competing because of a date mixup from SBF, I came to Bulgaria and got the win v USA in the preliminaries on Thursday to secure my place in the quarter finals v Bulgaria. Nothing I could have done would have changed today’s decision. Not even dropping her in the second round with a beautiful lead hook. Onwards and upwards as they say. Wow. Yesterday was incredible. So proud of the work I’m doing with Nike especially these events which matter the most. I get to help inspire other young girls to take up the sport whilst working alongside the oh so talented Nike training team. Big up the queen @hijabi.lifts yesterday was even better because you were there.
