Elephants bathe freely @phuketelephantheaventhailand We are often asked about bathing with our herd and why we do not allow guests to enter the water with the elephants. As a sanctuary we want our herd to be free to exhibit natural behaviours, splashing, submerging and interacting with each other. This is simply not possible when people are in the water with the elephants. Watch our herd as they cool down and play in their swimming pool. Join our observation tours and witness the beauty of elephants living freely as a herd. #PhuketElephantHeaven#SaveElephantFoundation#ElephantSanctuary#Phuket#ElephantRescue#AsianElephant#SaddleOff#AsianElephantProjects#BeKindToElephants#EthicalTourism#ResponsibleTourism#NotEntertainers#Thailand#Thai#JoinTheHerd#ResponsibleTravel#Education#Vegan#Family#PlantBased#ElephantLove#Visit#Volunteer#Follow#WildlifePhotography#Photographer#AnimalRights#VOTD

We can only begin to imagine how amazing this must feel. After decades of work in the logging and trekking industry, Sarah can finally relax. Today, for the first time Sarah was so comfortable in her new home that she laid down in the mud pit for a short nap! Sarahโ€™s friends Wasana & Pun Kham watched over her as slept. Amazing what can be achieved by beautiful friendships and the love of the herd. @phuketelephantheaventhailand#PhuketElephantHeaven#NoRideNoShow#SaveElephantFoundation#ElephantSanctuary#Phuket#ElephantRescue#AsianElephant#SaddleOff#AsianElephantProjects#BeKindToElephants#EthicalTourism#ResponsibleTourism#NotEntertainers#Thailand#Thai#JoinTheHerd#ResponsibleTravel#Education#Vegan#Family#ElephantLove#Follow#LostInThailand

Wasana, Sarah and Pun Kham were all previously used for the logging industry then moved to Phuket to service tourists desire to ride them. Look at them now in their new sanctuary home at Phuket Elephant Heaven Thailand. They have formed a small herd and roam freely in their forest home, gaining more confidence everyday. Listen to the herd finding their voices again and expressing themselves, an absolutely privilege to witness! Turn up the volume!! @phuketelephantheaventhailand#PhuketElephantHeaven#SaveElephantFoundation#ElephantSanctuary#Phuket#ElephantRescue#AsianElephant#SaddleOff#AsianElephantProjects#BeKindToElephants#EthicalTourism#ResponsibleTourism#NotEntertainers#Thailand#Thai#JoinTheHerd#ResponsibleTravel#Education#Vegan#Family#ElephantLove#Visit#Volunteer#Follow#VOTD
