#SpeedStickPartner Moving cross country finally helped me remove a self doubting mental block that I always had. I really wanted to be as creative as possible without worrying about what others thought. This was really difficult as I thought my work was never good enough to show my friends or family. I was afraid to show it in fear that they may not enjoy. After three years of constantly traveling, including almost all of the United States and 8 - 10 different countries, I now have an even more open mind than ever before. I have gained new perspectives and finally believe in my own potential. #CourageWhenItCounts#NeverQuit#SpeedStick

We left Telluride around 12am, reached the trailhead by 2am. Hiked up in the dark and made it to the top around 5:15am. It was super cold so @sparkofwanderlust@karl_shakur@hbmertz@denalithealaskanmalamute and myself all huddled together behind a giant boulder waiting for the sun to come out. We were exhausted and out of breath at 13,000ft. The sun finally rose around 6:15am. Was it all worth the effort? Hell yeah 😎

PLEASE READ: It’s been really sad hearing about the forest fires around Yosemite National Park. It’s my favorite place in world where I’ve had some of the best memories of my life. While many of this year’s forest fires out west have been naturally occurring many have also been human caused, ie cigarettes, fireworks, illegal fires, etc. We could do such a better job by being significantly more responsible. I put a link in my bio for Seven LNT (Leave No Trace) Practices. There’s also a section about campfires. I think the best thing right now is to educate as many people as possible on how to be responsible outdoors. In addition to that please check my post from yesterday with a campaign pertaining to the fires. - Lastly, while it might seem slightly off topic PLEASE do not fly drones anywhere near one of these forest fires. Emergency and Fire Personnel won’t be able to safely fly in and deliver the resources needed to help contain and extinguish these fires. Also goes without saying, NO flying drones in National Parks even if you’re taking off from outside park boundaries. If you have any questions about this feel free to send me a DM or comment below. - This photo was taken last year from Glacier Point Road ✌🏼

Sitting here enjoying one of my favorite wines @joshcellars while also toasting to one of my personal heroes, fire services protecting the great outdoors. This includes any firefighters and preventative personnel doing their absolute best to contain and eliminate these rampant summer forest fires, while risking their lives in the process. Post a public #ToastToHeroes image to Instagram before August 31, 2018, paying tribute to a hero in your own life. For each #ToastToHeroes post, Josh Cellars will donate $1 to the National Volunteer Fire Council and Operation Gratitude collectively (up to $25,000 for each charity). Please help me be a part of this incredible campaign :) #sponsored
