I think I overdid it with the festive spirit and I'm beginning to feel all christmass'd out, posting this picture to remind myself there is still a week to go and I can continue to power through and eat all the quality street and sing all the songs 🌲 I hope everyone's enjoying their festive season.
I've been so busy recently that I haven't had a chance to stop and go on my phone, let alone Instagram (and anyone who knows me knows I'm addicted so this is saying something). I've missed the community and seeing everyone's lovely photographs but I'm not going to lie, the break from getting caught up in the vicious circle social media can be has been refreshing.
Toy Story has to be my most favourite animated film (after The Lion King, duh) when we were in Vancouver earlier this year we even got the chance to visit the Pixar exhibition, which showcases all the cool tricks they use to make these masterpieces. The whole thing is based around mathematics (and not pretty drawings as I had thought) they use maths to work out how light bounces off objects and how hair moves with the character, it's crazy! Anyway I was going through my Hong Kong photographs from last year and this one popped out to me (Toy story land has to be the best part of Disney) and it reminded me of all the cool stuff I'd learnt and the fact there's a new Toy Story coming out next year and I can't wait to kick all the kids out the way and sit front row with my popcorn. 🍿
A not very exciting photo but I'm full of Chinese takeaway and I don't think I can possibly focus much more on picking a photo or even writing a caption. I'm currently visiting my nana in Liverpool and overdosing on cheesy Christmas movies, singing badly to Christmas carols and eating milk tray and Chinese. Perfect Saturday night, I hope you are all having a lovely day/evening💗
I've put up the Christmas tree in my bedroom, watched at least 3 Christmas movie's, bought a Christmas sandwich for lunch today and eaten nearly a whole tube of roses. The Christmas season has officially begun and I couldn't be more happy about it!! (This was me last year enjoying a photoshoot at Disneyland Hong Kong featuring what can only be described as bread with a seasonal topping) 🎄🎅
Yesterday me and my sister went back to London for the third time in the past month, this time to sort out her visa for our upcoming travel adventures! Our coach journey got delayed over an hour in traffic, so 5 hours of travel later and running through central London in the heavy rain, and a nervous wait in the embassy (don't all these places just make you an anxious mess even when it's not for you, or is that just me?) this festive view over lunch was definitely welcome! (Not to mention it was nearly 3pm and we hadn't eaten. Never have I devoured my chips and mayonaise so quickly.) All in time for another 4 hour coach journey home.
Happy December 🎄 I can't believe it was a whole year ago I went to visit my little sister in Japan before we hopped on a plane to Hong Kong for an adventure. (and I proceeded to get food poisoning whilst staying in the worst hostel I've ever stayed at.) This photo was taken on our 2nd full day, after we had sat in the tube station for over an hour whilst I clutched my tummy in pain deciding whether I could go on. I wrote a little rundown of what we got the chance to see on my trip over on my blog. Despite being poorly Hong Kong was still amazing. 🌟
This lucky girl is off to Manchester with her best friend for a couple of days of eating, shopping and drinking. Definitely neccessary after the dreary week we've been having. (P.s. This photo was taken a few months back in Gastown Vancouver and when I first learnt how to use the tone curve om Lightroom. I don't know why but it's one of my favourite pictures because of the composition and colours.)
Spent weeks researching a new phone, spent far to much money buying a new phone, now it's sat in my room and I'm to scared to touch it so it's currently in its box on the far side of the room sp there's minimal chance of me breaking it. Until I feel brave I'll stay on my trusty old one that keeps restarting every few minutes 😂
You know when you finally start organising things you've been putting off for days, weeks, months and yes even stuff I've been putting off for years, definitely feeling like giving myself a pat on the back today. Happy Monday, let's make it a good week 😄
Happy Saturday | I fought through the crowds of black Friday yesterday and managed to successfully purchase a new dress (which I didn't need) but am still spending far to long researching which new phone to buy. If anyone has any reconmendations for great phones with good cameras please let me know, until I decide I'll be watchig 200 youtube videos comparing them all. Wish me luck. (& have a beautiful day)
I think I've lost my mojo a little. I go through phases where I'm fiercely determined to get things done, and others where I know I need to give myself a kick in the butt but it just doesn't help. I think the cold weather and cosy days just make me want to curl up at home and leave it all for another day, but hopefully this feeling wont last long. Is this relatable or am I just being lazy? 😂
In need of going somewhere new and exploring to my little hearts desire so I can capture some more photographs. I'm currrently in pyjamas while it's raining outside and then work so today doesn't look promising (I'm going to predict tomorrow will probably consist of the same)
