Working on something geological-ish. This one is just practice before I attempt it on canvas. I’ve only used my black paint up until today... because, all black everything 🖤🖤🖤 anyone have music suggestions? I’ve been listening to the same albums for days...
Re-shelving & organizing my favorite books today... finding pressed flowers, little notes and sketches tucked away in the pages. 😍 My affinity for books is unwavering; their scent, their aesthetic, their tangibility. There’s very little in life more whimsical and romantic than an old book 🖤🖤🖤
Working up to making something for my niece... I’ve been practicing and practicing painting watercolor planets/moons... this is the first one that has even resembled anything that looks like the moon 😂😂 I keep hoping that one day, I’ll wake up and be good at things I’ve never been good at... but I guess it doesn’t work that way. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ at least it’s fun... • •• ••• •••• ••••• •••••• ••••••• •••••••• ••••••• •••••• ••••• •••• ••• •• • #watercolor#moon#fullmoon
I received my Desert Rose ring from @nyxturna today, completing the trifecta! (Also pictured: The Castle Ring & The Sacred Invocation Ring)... along with several postcards of her stunning photography, intended for my favorite pen-pals. I’ve never really been one to wear much jewelry, until I stumbled upon her hand-cast rings... now I’m obsessed 🖤🖤🖤
Painted my hand white (which seems to be counterintuitive) to photograph my goat skull. Although not the intended result, I’m still pleased. I have one that came out far too light.... looks less defined & more ghostly. If anyone wants it, simply comment below with something such as “I do”. Then I’ll dm you for a mailing address. That’s all the energy I could muster for today. Back to bed. • •• ••• •••• ••••• •••••• ••••• •••• ••• •• • ( goat skull purchased from @ritualcravt ... as always, the bones & taxidermy items they sell are a result of natural death, and come from sellers that pride themselves on honoring the spirit of these animals with ethical practices, as well as following applicable laws.)
