Happy Valentine’s Day good people! This is a painful day for some of us singles, but I want to encourage you to not get so down in the dumps about not having a partner YET. Keyword is YET. God has someone special for all of us! Have you thought about the fact that maybe He sees you’re not fit for that someone you’ve been praying for just yet and bringing them into your life at this moment would actually do more harm than good... or on the flip side, maybe they aren’t ready for you? ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ To my singles, let’s love on ourselves, appreciating every aspect of our being, feeling worthy with or without a partner, and embracing the season we are currently in. The single season is so important for personal and spiritual growth, but most people miss that because they’re too worried about who and what is next. Enjoy where you are, live your life to the fullest, travel the world, spend time with your amazing friends and family, eat great food and before you know it you’ll look up and BAM, your forever will be right there in ya face when you least expect it☺️⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ To my couples, every day should be Valentine’s Day, but it doesn’t hurt to show a little extra love today😘 give each other some shuga, SHOW each other you appreciate one another, and take time to reflect on where you’ve been and where you are appreciating all the ups and downs in between! For this episode of #WerkItOutWednesday we have an upper body workout, FINALLY😆 But I want to touch on a specific topic: SUPERSETS.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ A superset is a set that consists of 2 separate exercises that you perform with no (or very little) rest in between them.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I incorporate supersets into every workout I do, especially when I’m in my “bad birch lean and mean” phase! You can do supersets on the same muscle group, different muscle groups, an isolation exercise paired with a compound exercise, two compound exercises, etc. There’s so much variety! For this workout, I did supersets on my back and shoulders💪🏽 ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Benefits:⁣⁣⁣ 📍Great for keeping your heart rate elevated and really fatiguing your muscles⁣⁣⁣ 📍Increases the intensity of your workout⁣⁣⁣ 📍Time saver! Ok guys, it’s January 2nd! The new year has officially started and we don’t want to become the girl in the picture at the end of the year making a resolution to actually follow through with our resolutions for next year😭 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ If one of your resolutions was to lead a healthier, more fit lifestyle, congratulations! It’s one of the best decisions you could have made because well...health is wealth, we know that🤷🏽‍♀️ But instead of just proclaiming a healthier lifestyle in such a broad spectrum, how about putting action items behind it! Maybe creating a physical list of short term and long term goals and under each placing specific and detailed action items that you need to do in order to achieve them. Something that you can see daily that will help those goals feel more tangible! Whatever helps you stay on track, you should do that. It’s very easy to SAY the things we are going to do, but it’s a lot harder to actually DO them. Don’t let your resolutions, no matter what they are, become a fad that is non-existent by February so now you feel like you gotta throw the whole year away and try again for 2020😭 get your head in the game and stay focused! Figure out your “why?” and stick to it... think about that reason every time you think about giving up. We got this y’all, 2019 is OURS! Let’s give it 110%💪🏽😜 happy humpday! #WerkItOutWednesday

What’s holding you back? Is it your job? Your kids? Not enough time in the day? Your outside influences (friends, family, significant other, etc)? Or is it really just pure laziness? .... What’s keeping you from being your best self? Think about it. ⁣ ⁣ Now let me tell you, all the reasons that you just thought of are EXCUSES. Get rid of them. They don’t do you any good. The best thing you could EVER invest in is yourself and your health. Don’t you wanna grow old and not have to be on a dozen pills because you’re all sickly and immobile? Get out and MOVE! It doesn’t matter if you start out with a light run/walk around your neighborhood 3 times a week or a gym sesh twice a week! Whatever will get you going, DO THAT 💩! It don’t matter how you start, it only matters that you do. ⁣ ⁣ No it ain’t easy, no you not gon feel like it all the time, and no results ain’t gonna come in 2 weeks BUT you WILL start feeling better in every aspect of your life, your confidence WILL be out of this world, and your quality of life WILL drastically improve.
