"The weather was overcast and rainy making for very dark conditions. The hummingbird activity was high and there was a lot of interaction taking place. So I bumped up the D5’s ISO and took advantage of the available light attempting to capture the birds interacting." - @jc_wings Camera: Nikon #D5 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Settings: ISO 10000 | f/7.1 | 1/2500s #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#WildlifePhotography#Hummingbird

"This was my first landscape shoot with my new Nikon Z 6 and NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S lens. I'm blown away by the size and weight of this combo. It makes getting into strange close-up positions for photos with big foregrounds that much easier. This was my first time at this location but its combination of an incredible view with plenty of interesting foreground options is a winner!" - @sam.ison.photos Camera: Nikon #Z6 Lens: Nikkor Z 14-30mm F4 S Settings: 14mm | f/8 | ISO 100 | exposure blend of 1/8s for the foreground and 1/30s for the sky #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#LandscapePhotography#NikonZ6#NikonMirrorless

“I don’t know what it is, but there is something really intriguing about dead trees! Thankfully Lake Bonney has an endless supply. With no moonlight around, I had to push the camera to ISO 5000 (way beyond where I ever shoot). I'm just blown away by how clean the image turned out! Absolutely love the setup I used.” - @joshbeames Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm F2.8G ED Settings: ISO 5000 | f/2.8 | 30s | 14mm #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#LandscapePhotography#AstroPhotography#LakeBonney

"With the warmer weather it's a perfect time to capture spiders. A great tip is to have great lighting, especially a good diffused light, this is why I'm able to capture the wolf spider in such detailed high definition with the 20.9-megapixel Nikon D500." -@nightfall_photography Camera: Nikon D500 Lens: Nikon AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF- ED Settings: ISO200 | 1/160sec | f/22 #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#MacroPhotography#WildlifePhotography

"It was a stormy afternoon at Tamarama beach when I was running on the beach & a beautiful rainbow appeared right in front of me over the ocean. My imagination went wild and I started imagining a fairy-tale like scene where a pod of dolphins were playing right in front of the rainbow. After a while the rainbow turned even brighter so I decided to stop running & instead I went back to the car to fetch my camera. Once I had my camera I hurried back to the beach where to my greatest amazement the fairy-tale I imagined only a minutes ago appeared right in front of me. I saw three dolphins swimming to the shore towards right where I was standing as they were chasing a group of fish under the rainbow. I just can’t describe my happiness in that moment, it felt like they read my thoughts! It also felt like the love I feel towards dolphins was reciprocated by them performing this spectacle for me. I will never forget about this special moment." - @rugligeri Camera: Nikon #D850 Lens: AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II Settings: 200mm | f/2.8 | 1/800s | ISO 280 #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#Wildlifephotography#Dolphin#SydneyUncovered#Tamarama#DiscoverySydney

"One of, if not the most challenging thing about landscape photography is just showing up. That sounds easy enough but nature can be such an elusive thing. Sure there's composition, gear, post processing and planning to also consider but to show up day after day sacrificing sleep and resources only to fail again and again can make for a difficult mental challenge. This was the case for this particular shot. Over the course of a year or so it took me a lot of attempts to finally get a killer sky over this scene. It was worth every bit!" - @chungy_photos Camera: Nikon #D610 Lens: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Base Settings: ISO 50 | 1/3 sec | f/11 | 18mm 2 more shots taken for exposure 3 more shots taken for focus #Nikon#MyNikonlife#NikonAustralia#Photography#Nikkor#NikonTop#NikonPhotography#DSLR#LandscapePhotography#Comp

"A storm front surges up the East Australian Coast dropping small lightning flashes as it comes. Then, when its nearly overhead, a spectacular bolt is unleashed lighting up the shelf and the ocean below.
