I remember the first time I read ‘Seven Sons’ by @lili_stgermain ... I was on the train commuting to work. By the time the train pulled up at my stop, I had practically inhaled the entire book and was in the middle of hastily downloading ‘Six Brothers’. Sadly work interrupted my desired reading schedule but ‘Six Brothers’ was likewise consumed in its entirety on the way home... Then came the horror of finding that the rest of the series had not been released yet 😂 It was awesome to meet you last Saturday, Lili! #reader#writer#booksbythebridgeauthoreventsydney#lilistgermain
I had a set plan of attack for @booksbythebridgeauthorevents on Saturday that I was happily waylaid from when I stumbled across @bethprenticenovels and became completely distracted by her beautiful books. By egregious failure on my part, I forgot to get a photo with Beth and her incredible books so here is a quick pic of her merch instead 😂. To make up for it I’m moving her books to the top of my #tbr list! #reader#writer#booksbythebridgeauthoreventsydney#thechocolatewasnotabribeiswear
Among all the @abbiglines novels I have read, it is hard to pick a favourite. However, from the day I was a witness Blaire Wynn pulling her gun in Chapter One I knew we’d book besties for life 😂 Here’s a close up of my now signed copy of ‘Fallen Too Far’ 💖 #reader#writer#booksbythebridgeauthoreventsydney#signedbooks
After a childhood spent barely being sighted without a book in my hand, by my early 20s things had changed. I had become a work-obsessed husk who hadn’t touched a book for leisure in years. On the recommendation of some kind, concerned friends I checked out the ‘new authors’ section on iBooks. The first book I downloaded and read was Abbi Glines’ ‘Existence’. Nearly eight years and more than 40 books later it was finally my absolute delight to meet @abbiglines in person and have her sign my epic collection of her books. Thank you so much Abbi, both for being so generous with your time and for re-igniting my love of reading and writing 💖 #reader#writer#booksbythebridgeauthoreventsydney
‘A view from the queue’ part 1 of 2. A quick shot of myself and @katecefaiauthor waiting ever so patiently for the doors to open to #booksbythebridgeauthoreventsydney while experiencing the most confused mix of rain showers and sunshine Sydney has experienced for some time. #reader#writer#lunaparksydney
