What is that famous saying, let go or be dragged. We spent so many years living in the past, playing out how we thought it was supposed to be, strangling all of the joy out of our lives and resisting what actually was. There are happier ways to live ❤️🙌🙏 Thx @kellyrutherford
Today would always make a sad as kids, because we didn’t have a father, and we watched our mother provide financially and emotionally as best she could as a stressed out, overworked single mom. We feel extra compassion for the women doing it all, and the kids who have a quiet sadness on this day, when everyone is posting, celebrating, or having family dinners. Today is a great day to tell a single mom how much she is loved, and appreciated... drop off groceries, watch her kids so she can go to a movie, help clean her home, anything you can do to support the moms in your community, always makes a huge difference. (Not every post will apply to everyone, so if doesn’t speak to you that’s fine.)
Let us have it. As many as you want. We’re going to print a ton of these in our fall issue. 🔥❤️🙌 #YouKnowWe’reProbablyGoingToTurnTheseIntoQuotesTomorrow 🤣🤣
If it’s necessary, do what you need to do to protect your energy, your health, and your sanity. Sometimes it feels like the same broken record on repeat, and we don’t always have to go back for more pain. Sometimes you just need to stop hurting yourself, and move forward.
