Now that the holiday season is closed (I have been SO busy!) I think this is a good time for everyone to take a few moments and reflect how 2018 has shaped them into the person they are bringing into 2019. Maybe this year was the best year yet for you (and I am SO happy for that!) but for many people I know, that it was the complete opposite. I love to sit back and think about all the amazing things I’ve done in 2018, but I think it’s important to take the good with the bad, and remember some of the not so good times as well. For me, 2018 was a tough one. 2018 was the most emotionally and spiritually challenging year of my life. I experienced my first loss of a loved one, a heartbreak, graduation, and most importantly I stopped regularly attending church and was beginning to stop caring about what god has done and wants to do through me.(2019 I’m coming back to the heart) At these moments I was at the lowest of the lows and in times like these it’s easy to feel alone. I am truly so thankful for everyone who has reached out to me in 2018, thank you. Although 2018 was the worst year of my life, it had so many amazing moments and memories. I graduated high school, had my last prom, and felt so loved at my graduation party. I began attending college, visited 2 countries(even if one was for less than 24hrs.) went on an amazing trip to Playa Del Carmen, became dependent on a cup of coffee (or 2) a day, got a new car (no more wondering if I can drive longer than 25 minutes without overheating 😂) I discovered a love for strawberry açaí refreshers, and became a lot closer with my mom (girls, your mom WILL become your best friend) I got the cutest and sweetest pup, cried to many many many episodes of this is us, and saw ED SHEERAN (😍😱) In addition I had so much fun and made so many memories with my best girls and my best guy, Kaleb.
