The single "Open Your Heart" was originally a rock song called "Follow your heart" written by Gardner Cole and Peter Rafelson for Cyndi Lauper, but she did not like it, then they tried to sell the song to the band The Temptations, obtaining the same result. According to Cole, the original title was from a fast food restaurant called "Follow Your Heart in Canoga Park" in California where he had fallen in love with a waitress named Lisa and she was the inspiration for that letter. When the song fell into the hands of Madonna it added sententizers and rewrote the lyrics making it one of the favorite Pop songs of the decade of the 80's, and when it was released it seized the first position of the Billboart Hot 100. #OpenYourHeart#Madonna#rebelHeartsneverDie
