Daydreaming of warmer days, sundresses & barefoot adventures ☀️ . I love when companies can create high-quality goods in a way that’s better for the planet! 🌍 @tamgadesigns is just that kind of company. TAMGA got their start in Dhaka, Bangladesh shortly after a garment factory collapsed, claiming over 1000 lives, and they decided to create their own supply chain from scratch. They’ve partnered with @1percentftp to support the missions of @orangutanssos & @orangutaninformationcentre, 2 organizations that are working to protect and rehab an ecosystem that’s been heavily damaged by the fashion industry. 🌲 🐵 Indonesia’s rainforests are being logged out of existence for many consumer goods, one of which is rayon fabric, and I love that @tamgadesigns is doing more to make a change. . 🎁 As we enter into this season of giving, choose to put your money towards more than just stuff – put it towards companies that are working hard to make our world a better place.
🍁❄️Climb the mountains and get their good things. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of autumn. – John Muir
Playing with @dazey_LA and @bijouxbycatherine! . @Dazey_LA creates their in-house line of apparel from hand drawn graphics, and each piece is handmade to order in Los Angeles. Every piece of artwork ties back to their mission to empower women, which is something I’m passionate about, as well! Which is why I’m SO excited to be a #brandambassador for the business 💕 Check out their stuff with the link in my profile, and use BENDINELLI to get 10% off your first order!
Looking at Torreys Peak from Grays. After summiting 14,278’ you look at the rocky trail leading to the next peak at 14,275’ and decide if you can make it all the way. It’s about 575 feet down to the Grays Torreys saddle, and the 572 feet going back up might be the most difficult steps of the entire climb. But then there’s the ear-to-ear grins and high-fives greeting you once you peak, and the endorphin-filled satisfaction as you look back at the route you just tackled, and all of a sudden you’re counting down the days til you can take on your next 14er.
