We ended up with a flat tire about 20 miles down a gravel road without anyone around and far out of cell reception. We also were lacking a car jack and lug nut wrench and so we couldn’t put on the spare tire. Luckily there was a kind couple who randomly showed up and helped us out. It isn’t a real road trip until you end up in a rural auto repair shop, right?
End of day perks. Also, it turns out I have a heart that beats too fast. (See the last pic ➡️) I kind of knew this already but I recently bought an Apple Watch and it’s been crazy to see what’s actually going on in there. I have a hummingbird heart, which doesn’t feel quite as cool as it sounds. I also learned that the Apple Watch maxes out at 210 bpm so I really have no idea what my true max heart rate is. Anyone else out there have this going on? Any tricks you’ve found beside heart surgery or heavy medication to improve things? I’m all ears. My heart is open. I’ll let you pick the metaphor you want to go with.
