Dreamy evenings in the North Cascades. These are from an early season adventure with @torrey_merritt, to one of Washington’s many fire lookouts. Took the second photo from my bed just before crawling into my sleeping bag. PS, these photos were edited using my Lightroom preset “nostalgia”, which is available for purchase on my website! Sunsets on the Oregon Coast, made a little bit better by a cold drink with good company. I've partnered with @BudweiserUSA to tell you about their Discovery Reserve beer, created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon missions! A perfect addition to your end of summer adventures. #thisbudsforyou#partner#spacebeer
More impressions from a few days spent exploring the Oregon Coast. Someone recently told me that I seem like a nostalgic person, and I have to agree. Discovering new things is obviously great, but I love returning to the same places over the years, soaking up the memories and feelings as they come flooding back, and creating new ones to revisit later. Every detail of my experiences plays a role in shaping these feelings. Music, smells, people, weather, mindset, it all combines and creates something special that’s hard to describe, but is incredibly distinct and visceral. You know it when you feel it. I’ve got a lot of plans to revisit old favorites in the next couple months, and I couldn’t be more stoked 🤘🏻
A quick little jaunt to one of my favorite places. The hike up was hot and sunny, but later in the evening clouds descended on the area and unloaded one of the most intense thunder storms I’ve seen. We opted to sleep in the car and I think we made the right choice 👌🏻
Is there anything better than paddling on an Alaskan lake with your best friend? Maybe doing so in one of these amazing boats from @orukayak! They’re light, durable, and set up in 5 minutes! Also, the Beach LT has tons of room for your pet companions. Can’t recommend them enough! #orukayak#sponsored
