Aloha again guys! @adventures_ofjess here, wrapping up this #takeovertuesday with one of my favorite views - Koko Head Crater. One of the most stunning drives around the coastline right here. Thanks to @hawaiianairlines for giving me the opportunity to share my images with you all! Mahalo everyone! 🙌🏻🌋
Aloha guys!! Jess here (@adventures_ofjess) here for this weeks #takeovertuesday. 🏝 I’m going to be sharing with you a few of my favorite images captured here on O’ahu. I’m originally from Sydney, Australia, but have been living in Waikīkī for about 4 months now. I love shooting beach scenes that you usually wouldn’t see from land. Can’t wait to share them with you! This is golden hour at the one and only Waikīkī Beach, looking back at the beautiful Diamond Head.
Nā Mokulua, affectionately also known as "The Mokes" or "Twin Islands," are O‘ahu’s most popular offshore islets. You can only visit Mokulua Nui (left), the larger of the twin islets. Park at Kailua Beach Park and launch your kayak to paddle out to the islet. Keep a lookout for honu (Hawai‘i green sea turtle) during your journey - they enjoy bobbing in the waters of Kailua Bay. Other places get snow during their winter; we get the best waves on the planet. There are only a select few that will ride the waves that the officials will close the beach for. Here is a photo of a few of the brave surfers taking on Waimea bay on a beautiful winter afternoon. - Photo and words by @kalaniminihan.
Get a taste of historic Hawai‘i Island at the Downtown Hilo Farmer's Market, one of the best open markets in the State. The market attracts locals and visitors alike, where you can find locally grown fruit and vegetables, beautiful flowers and plants, and much more. What do you usually buy at a Farmers' Market? We love 🍓🍇🍉🥑🌽🍧
Happy #NationalAviationHistoryMonth! Did you know we are the only commercial airline that owns and operates their very first aircraft? The 1929 Bellanca CH-300 Pacemaker was acquired by company founder Stanley C. Kennedy in September 1929 from Newcastle, Delaware and was used for Honolulu sightseeing tours to help promote air travel. Can you guess how many passengers fit in the aircraft? #Bellanca
