And last, but most certainly not least, we visited a presentation on The Art of Sound, which described how sound producers, editors, and composers make the magic of music capture the setting and tone of a film. Probably one of my top favorite exhibits there, since it inspired me a lot passion and career-wise. Here are a few examples of the analog equipment many WB sound producers used to make movie soundtracks. Imagine how long it took to make and record a single song compared to now. It's way too easy now. Analog equipment adds an organic element to music, which makes it so essential for movies. Some of the best movie soundtracks were recorded with analog equipment. #wbstudiotour#wbtourhollywood

These are from the WB Prop shop. A lot of these props are recycled and used in other films, TV, and media. Basically WB's closet. It was amazing being able to see many of the things that were contained in that shop. Pic #1: A pirate that has possibly been used in many movies, most likely Pirates of the Caribbean. Pic #2: Morpheus' chair in The Matrix 😎 Pic #3: The many Agent Smiths that were used in The Matrix. Pic #4: Korean KFC. Pic #5: Gotham Newspaper booths, used in many Batman films and movies. Pic #6: It's the 80s again!! (Not sure where that has been used) Pic #7: ....You decide what it is. Pic #8: 8-track cassette tapes from Warner Bros. Records alumni. Pic #9: A bike that looked familiar, but I couldn't pin down where it had been used. Please comment if you know. #wbstudiotour#wbtourhollywood

The WB Studio tour was amazing! It was incredible learning about the history and legacy of each TV show and movie that was filmed on location at Warner Bros. Studios. The exhibits were exciting and immersive and we got to witness things that many people unfortunately don't always have the privilege to, which I'm eternally grateful for. Thanks to CEC for arranging this for everyone! Pic #1: That alley is historic for being the alley that Spider-Man and Mary Jane kissed in the iconic scene in the 2002 Spider-Man film. It is also where Prince stood and posed for his Purple Rain shoot in 1984. Pic #2: That is Phoebe's Dad's house from the TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Pic #3: That is a Chicago facade used in many TV shows and movies to make it look like you're in Chicago when you're not. Pic #4: D O B B Y Pic #5: My ugly ass and what I look like after the aftermath of the rain. I sat there and was told I was a RavenClaw. Pic #6: Wonder Woman's battle suit. Pic #7: Gotham City Hall, used in the classic Batman films. Pic #8: Ellen show studio view. Not very many people are able to go to Ellen's stage, since most tickets are hard to obtain to attend a screening of the show. Most are usually sold out months in advance. It was a privilege to visit the stage. Pic #9: Audience view of Ellen stage. The stage and chairs are smaller than I expected πŸ˜‚ Pic #10: The main WB lot. #wbstudiotour#wbtourhollywood

New song, link is in bio. Also, I need your guys' help with this one. Although I like how the song turned out, I'm debating on whether or not I should create a live band cover of this track in the future and add lyrics or if I should just leave it as is and add lyrics. I also need a title. Don't hesitate to leave your honest feedback on this.

A day before Ozzfest, @_trauma_switch_, @changster415, and I visited Hollywood Forever. It was my first time there and I felt such a great vibe. Such beautiful souls surrounded by elegant scenery. It was wonderful being able to visit Chris Cornell's grave. He's always been a huge inspiration who has instilled most of my creative fuel at a young age and still continues to do so. I hope to visit Hollywood Forever again sometime soon. πŸ–€πŸ™ #hollywoodforever#cemetery#rip

NYE Ozzfest was so amazing!!! Thanks to my good friend @_trauma_switch_ for inviting me. Much better than last year, despite the short lineup list. The experience was definitely interesting, considering that we all got pelted with fake snow during Wednesday 13. After Wednesday 13, DevilDriver performed. I was still soaking from the fake show I got showered on during Wednesday 13's set that I wasn't able to get much footage, but seeing their cover of Sail by AWOLNATION live was actually pretty darn good. I still miss Coal Chamber though. After DevilDriver, Zakk Sabbath lit up the Forum parking lot with their incredible tribute to Black Sabbath and played tunes such as "Supernaut", "Lord of This World", "Into the Void", and "N.I.B.". Zakk Wylde also ran into the crowd twice and played two 10 minute solos. After Zakk Sabbath, we all went inside for Body Count, Ice-T's LA based crossover thrash machine. They were fucking great and played a cover of Slayer's "Raining Blood", as well as some of their recent original tracks. Badass performance. After Body Count, one of my idols, Jonathan Davis put on an amazing performance and sung a few songs off of Black Labyrinth, as well as some QOTD tracks: "Forsaken" and "System". Amazing performance by a huge inspiration of mine. After Jonathan Davis, Marilyn Manson performed and played a few rare hits live, including "Rock Is Dead", "Antichrist Superstar" and "The Angel with the Scabbed Wings". It was amazing to finally be able to see Marilyn Manson live, and his singing was ON POINT compared to some recent performances. After Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie opened with one of his newer tracks, "Dead City Radio" and played a few hits. He also did a cover of "Helter Skelter" by The Beatles with Marilyn Manson, which was great to be able to see that live, considering that it was mostly done for the Twins of Evil tour. After Zombie, OZZY FINALLY SHOWED UP. He was 30 minutes late to his set and you can tell he was kinda drunk, but put on an amazing show regardless. Ozzy also did the NYE Countdown for us and there was honestly no better way to start the New Year than with a metal legend wishing everyone a Happy New Year. #ozzfest2018
