I can't wait to be back in the sun! I've been planning some exciting new trips for the next month to some awesome locations, none of which I've ever been to before! Keen to get travelling again and start pumping out more work from some super unique and special parts of the world. In the meantime here's a pic from home 🙌🏻🙏🏻 #queensland#australia#droneshots
Found myself hanging out on this sandbar, off the coast of Queensland while shooting a project at the end of last year. I felt like an ant in comparison to the vast landscape around me. While I was there I managed to snap up some abstract looking images of the surrounding water which reminded me of a water colour painting. I'm hoping to release these as a limited print run soon! Stay tuned. #australia#stradbroke#droneshots
A busy summer night along Venice Pier, my favourite time of day to shoot these types of shots! The low light starts the make the colours pop and the long shadows start to bring everything below to life. It was awesome spending 10 days in California, going around shooting some of my favourite spots, already missing the heat back here in Australia. #droneshots#california#venicepier
I recently spent an afternoon at Griffith Observatory, during one of it’s peak visiting hours. I couldn’t believe how many people were coming and going from this landmark so I decided to capture the masses with this epic hyperlapse using the @djiglobal#OsmoPocket. With just the touch of a button the Osmo’s active track feature allowed me to walk around the observatory keeping it perfectly entered the entire time, leaving me with this silky smooth hyperlapse!
I went out to capture Venice Beach at 7am one morning before the masses arrived for the day. The Skate Park is always so packed full of people, I'd never seen it so quite. I've wanted to capture a shot like this for the past few years but never had any luck until now. I've been experimenting with stitching multiple frames together to create super wide, super high quality images! So happy with how this one r turned out. One of my favourites from my recent trip. #droneshots#venicebeach#california
One of my favourite things about being in Cali are the epic sunsets. Last week I was hanging out at the Santa Monica Pier and saw some insane clouds forming as the sun started to set. I shot this over a span of 40 minutes using my @djiglobal#Osmopocket giving this action packed transition from day to night!
What better place to watch the sun go down than Venice Pier? I’ve spent so much time down here over the past week that I’m beginning to feel like a local. I want to give a huge shoutout to @zeuslivinginc who helped me out with an amazing two bedroom home during my time here in Venice. I’ve never felt more at home when traveling overseas and having my own space to relax and work has been incredible. If you’re planning an extended stay for business travel anytime soon definitely check them out! #HomeWithZeus
Back on the California coast just in time for summer. I haven't been out here in nearly two years which is when I snapped this shot here. It's been great to spend the past week catching up with old friends and taking meetings for a bunch of exciting projects coming up in the near future! My laptop is crashing on me at the moment but I'm aiming to get out some fresh new content from this trip asap! #droneshots#california
It's that time of year again, When Sydney bursts into light. @samsungau invited me down to experience their Galaxy Studio and Electric Playground as part of this year's Vivid Sydney Light Festival. I found myself lost in this crazy Ocular Odyssey which recognises and reflects the colour of your eyes. If you're in Sydney over the next two weeks definitely get down and check it out. #TeamGalaxy
One of the oldest rules of film making, shoot your mids, tights and wides. Now I can capture all three with just my @samsungau Galaxy S10+. This phone has blown me away over the last few months and has allowed me to capture everyday moments like this in a cinematic way never before possible on mobile, from the three camera lenses to the crazy image stabilization this thing is the complete package, allowing me to capture every angle, whether it be up close or from a distance. #workingwithsamsung
This is my favourite shot I've taken so far this year and I took it during the first few days of 2019. It's crazy the amount of places I've visited purely to capture one image. These wrecks took a whole 3 hours each way just to get there and snap a few shots before leaving again. It sounds excessive but I've done it that many times that I know the end result will be worth it and the journey to get there will create some of the best memories that will stay with me forever. Would love to hear some of your stories behind shots you've taken. #droneshots#australia#tangalooma
Thank you to everyone who showed love on my last video from the Philippines. If you haven't seen it hit the link in my bio now and check it out! Was awesome seeing so many of you share it on your stories and show your support for a good cause with all the work we did over there with @karmagawa and Cancer Warriors! #karmagawa#coron#philippines
