That couldn’t define me better. I have learnt to become my best friend and best ally. 4 years ago before the diagnostic of my sickness and my so good burnout, I was a mess. In every level. I couldn’t function and the most thing , I hated myself. The most important was to learn to get to know myself, good and bad and love all of that. I’m still in process but I can tell you that I’m totally another me. I’m the me I was supposed to be. I used to love people to love me, always falling in love with the wrong person. Now, I couldn’t care less if people wants to be with me or not. I’m just sick and tired that even , at my age, you have to fight yourself to prove what beauty is. And then, people will come to you , throw you some little crumbs, but you have nice lips, but you have nice this. Like you ask them to reassure you. And I’m laughing really hard because, at level, I don’t care about you finding me beautiful or not, being in the game or not. Darling, I have had really hard diseases, I’m beating my chronic disease and I’m full of life. Fit and loving loving myself . So not being this or that just for your sense of vanity, for you to say “yeah you’re all that” . I can say that to myself. And I feel it everyday. I love myself unconditionally. Breaking my intermittent fasting is a total ritual for me . And I just love it . Except when I am at work i don’t do the breathing exercises, but definitely the gratitude and 5 meditation. . Basically, before breaking my fast , I am using my breathing app. On my iPhone. Love it. It is a whole 7 min breathing exercise. It can be tedious , but u get used to it and it is so good for you. Then, I’m doing my gratitude to the universe. Mainly thanking to be able to do the fasting and feeling great and then go to 5 min meditation. Then I drink my shake . My shake is mainly veggies like brocolis, céleri, cucumber, avocado, a bit of almond paste, one fruit and water. Cruciferous veggies are needed for your probiotic, avocado and almond paste, essential for your good fat intake then my cucumber. I love it. I put it everywhere. Then some fruits. Not too much too. For the sugar intake. And this is the first meal . Then 2 hours after , I will have a real meal. This ritual is so important to me . I’m obsessed with my stomach because most of the time , it is bloating. The hormones makes it big and i have to fight with it. This is the afternoon, I have been eating cake and even worse , croissants for breakfast. And I love it. I can get a flat stomach but endometriosis will want to make it otherwise. Fasting help, and does help a lot .but I am about to enter a week without « refined sugar » to see what are the real benefits on the sickness. If I feel less tired , definitely less pain . No, it wasn’t fitting at all. My shoulders and my breasts make it difficult to get to any shirt, shirt dress or any type of this kind of clothes. So frustrating . The more frustrating, it was looking at my body after 5 or 6 weeks of doing nothing. A bit scary. I didn’t put on weight, even the opposite but it went flat. The lesson to take here is that I’m feeling good . The look isn’t there but inside is performing like it should be. And yes I will go back to it. Like always . To be honest, I haven’t done anything for more than 1 month, with the sickness, I was so tired. I was to busy , wondering , the changes I could make for feeling better with endometriosis. But, I was meditating a lot. Doing breathing exercises. Trying to eat better. But being in a calm , positive environment the more I could. . . Today, I could say , I am feeling rested. I’m reading a lot about hormonal issues, and I realised that even if I love the small stresses I am giving my body while doing sport, I should have to do more yoga / Pilates to reduce the amount of cortisol, I can produce. However, I love lifting. Still in the program but I have to start to see the way I live definitely differently. More zen time. Still sweating sometimes, tough. Lately, I have noticed , as I’m shifting into somebody totally different, let say a better version of me, that really few people were celebrating my wins. Before, I remembered feeling so needy and the feel to be friends with everybody. They all have to love me otherwise, I wasn’t good enough. And I will always go the extra mile for people, who, didn’t care about me. Extra generous with money, time , care , all of that. And I thought, all of this who get back to me in some sort of way. Until the day , I became really sick, until my burnout , until my breakdown. It was so brutal. Your life changes, you changes too . You have to. My love for people changed. I have to learn myself , which means of course, the way I viewed my relationship changed. And then , suddenly, because I was taking care of myself more and less forcing to get into people’s life, I could see that all those people didn’t care. They don’t care about you at all but they will come to you and say , “please be happy for me, help me for this “. But always one sided. Is it make me sad? No. But , it’s a strange feeling. But you have good surprise.
