Had fun rock climbing this weekend! Didn't push myself too hard, still not 100% with my back. Almost lost my footing on the landing 😂 🗻 🧗‍♂️ 🗻 🧗‍♂️But it's nice to do something active outside of the gym. 🏋️‍♂️ ▫️I challenge everyone to find that one thing they enjoy doing that's active. You know what no one tells you about once you move out of your parents home for ever? Is continuing to PARENT yourself even when your parents are done raising you. After I moved out of my moms house, and moved in with Manny, we became relaxed on everything. We no longer had moms asking us to do chores, or to do our homework or to go outside and play. We no longer had moms choosing our meals or taking us to the doctor. For nearly 2.5 years, we have been In this cloud and just going through the motions of life, guessing basically. We no longer made things priorities. We pushed growing the business off, we pushed growing ourselves off, & we pushed healthy choices off. We fell into a rough patch these last few weeks. It’s embarrassing to say or share because My Manny and I are literally the BEST of friends, we are together 24/7 and I love him with my entire heart, but the last few weeks of the year caught up to us and we were having a really rough patch. Not that we were even close to giving up on each other but the fact that there was some sort of WEDGE stuck in our relationship and WE are the ones who put it there. So what did we do? We communicated exactly how we felt, we expressed what we need more of and much less of and though it takes time and consistency to work on things, I can say that this week is better than last weeks and last week was better than the week before. Moral of the story—- don’t stop PARENTING yourself even if you “think” you don’t need it anymore, believe me, it doesn’t hurt to continue growing and learning. Here’s to day 2 and NOT GIVING UP ON THE THINGS YOU LOVE, even when times get TOUGH. STICK IT OUT because when it is over, you will be able to SMILE and know you did your ABSOLUTE BEST AND that’s all you can do! #nevergiveuponlove#findyourvoice#warriorwoman#createyourreality#exerciseisfun#parentingmyself#continuetogrow#growingupisfun#adultingwin#tiedyelovers#californiadreamin#steppingup

People think it’s the super long distances that are hard. This was hands down my
People think it’s the super long distances that are hard. This was hands down my hardest run in my marathon training to date. . I’m still fatigued from the 10mile run at the weekend and today I taught 2.5hrs of classes and did 3 hours massaging....and I still had a spin class to teach after this run. . I’ve run two half marathons (13miles) but this 5 miles broke me and I couldn’t be more proud of myself tonight. Yep, I’m blowing that trumpet! Because if I can’t praise myself, why am I even bothering with this whole journey? The only thing that got me through was the fact the treadmill was going to turn off at 60mins and I had an 8km target 😂. . Tomorrow I’ll focus on rest and recovery. I’ll foam roll and I’ll SLEEP. . We are SO excited to welcome Ghislain LeBlanc (Physiotherapist MScPT, BScKin) to our team!! • Ghislain grew up in Bathurst, NB and went on to complete his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the Université de Moncton in 2010. He then completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2012. ⠀⠀ As he is fluent in both English and French, Ghislain is able to serve you in either language. Ghislain se fera un plaisir de vous servir en français ou en anglais, selon votre préférence. •
Since graduating, Ghislain has worked in various settings including private practice, inpatients, critical care, cardiorespiratory and orthopaedics. Over the years, Ghislain has developed a strong interest in vestibular rehabilitation and sport physiotherapy. He has taken extensive post-graduate training in vestibular rehabilitation, exercise prescription, taping, sport physiotherapy and prevention of running injuries. Ghislain is currently working towards the Certificate in Sport Physiotherapy. He is currently a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Sport and Orthopedic Divisions. ⠀⠀ • Ghislain’s passion for sport physiotherapy began during his two seasons as a student therapist for the Université de Moncton men’s soccer team. Since then, he has covered many sporting events at a local, provincial and national level including hockey, soccer, track and field, figure skating, football. He was also part of the medical team for a Nitro Circus event. Most recently, Ghislain has been working with the St. Stephen Aces Junior A hockey team since 2016 and the KV Kings Bantam AAA Major team since 2017. Ghislain was named team therapist for Hockey New Brunswick’s Under 15 High Performance Team in 2018. •
Outside of the clinic, Ghislain tries to stay active. He enjoys playing hockey and snowboarding in the winter time. During the summer, you will likely find Ghislain on a mountain biking trail or a golf course. •⠀⠀ Ghislain will be starting to take patients the beginning of February!

Having fun challenging myself with my F45 workouts - starting to lift more weights (resistance training) in addition to my kettlebells, Muay Thai and boxing!! I love the fact the workouts change each day, alternating with cardio and weights, and also timing of intervals!! Keeps my body guessing and I never feel like I can plateau!! I find that it completely compliments my sport and I walk out feeling accomplished!! Day 1 of my step up class in my home gym with my boo by my side and our own music, our own private space, making as much or as little noise as we want and above all else, HAVING FUN. - - We fell off our routine for a while. I’m still Learning to balance my busy work life & my fitness routine. But I do know, it takes legit hard work and consistency to keep and show results! - - This is not a quick fix situation. I learned that quick fixes like (pills, wraps, juices, starvation) do NOT work because they don’t provide you with HARD WORK. Anything that requires hard work will lead to success, depending. - - I was in the best shape of my life when I was on my cheerleading team in high school. Because I learned HARD WORK. Though my nutrition wasn’t in check at the time, I was still more confident in myself because I worked for what I had earned. Anything that is handed to you or just swallowed will not give you that same satisfaction. - - When I was doing those quick fixes, I was destroying my mental health. Not only did the pills I took to “lose weight” make me legit bat shit crazy because they were keeping me “full” so I wouldn’t eat... which led to weight loss... which led to bat shit craziness because my body wasn’t being fueled with FOOD. - - I wish I found this program sooner, but I had to grow through those young obstacles to learn what I truly need for myself. - - I am so PUMPED for this program! My team is excited and we all started our day ones together and we will continue to stick through it through each round! - - 20 minutes a day and a simple meal plan with WHOLE foods and a support group, all for the price of $8/month? Yep. Cheaper than your gym and I’m at home with no rules to follow except my own! I can press play outside, I can press play in my underwear or even naked if I wanted to. Ain’t nobody stopping me! This is the longest I've ever held dancer pose. To some, this may not seem like much, but to me, this is a huge non scale victor
To some, this may not seem like much, but to me, this is a huge non scale victory! I’ve never done the stair stepper machine @planetfitness before, for longer than 20 min. About 40 floors in (I planned on stopping at 50 floors, like I usually do) I was tagged in a #100floorchallenge for the umpteenth time, by @yourlevelfitness . I always tell him “sorry, not gonna do it. I can’t do it.” Daryl, thanks for always tagging me, even when I tell you no. Because today, I told myself I would do it! I may have did most of it on a level 4-5, but I did it! It may have taken me 38 min, but I got it done!! A friend from work was at the gym and I talked to her and a couple of other guys that I see at the gym all of the time. It really made the time pass and I can’t believe that I did it! Woohoo!! Guys, your body can do amazing things, if you just allow it to! My boyfriend and I shared this last night- “shock horror! But that’s “BAD” calor
My boyfriend and I shared this last night- “shock horror! But that’s “BAD” calories?!” I hear you cry... . Nope. There is no good or bad. Just “calories”. I knew these particular calories would be in liquid form so subsequently kept full with plenty of veg in my dinner and drank this mindfully and really enjoyed it. . You can see there’s some left because we don’t succumb to last supper syndrome. We didn’t feel like having every last drop. Read my blog post about it, link is in my bio. . My clients also enjoy Prosecco too, or chocolate or whiskey. They’re NOT treats...they’re just calories. Consumed mindfully and in keeping with the end result still in sight.

The sky this morning has left me wide eyed and open mouthed at its beauty! The funny thing was that standing in my kitchen looking out, I couldn’t see it. The vista just looked dark, dank and pretty bleak...nothing I would want to immerse myself in. But then Simon, who was at the glass doors and closer to the action, waived me over to see what he had seen and this beautiful picture opened up before me. We stood there..together & amazed! If I had judged from a far and not trusted his invitation to look closer, I could have missed out on this glorious spectacle. It was a reminder to me that we all need people to point things out to us that we ourselves may not be seeing. They may have more experience, a better view point, greater belief! All we have to do is trust and then take action to look for ourselves. I’m so grateful to the person that showed me Arbonne and said “hey...come see this view”. She offered me a plan B, she offered me personal development, she offered me an alternative way to make money that is allowing me to put my health and my life first. It’s changed my hope, belief and my life for the better! I’ve met the most amazing people (FACT) and I’ve been to places I would not of otherwise have been.
