Nearly every time we have a session he’ll show me videos of her playing around and attempting all kinds of new tricks - including her reactions; the joys of accomplishment, the frustrations of failure and the never ending pursuit of having fun. . . . I think this is part of the reason why whenever we’re in the gym together he always has something he wants to try. . . . It’s basically his turn to be the kid, and he does it really well 🕺🏼 . . . The nice thing is, when it’s time to put the head down and work, he does that just as well. It’s quite a deadly combination. . . . Cleaning the bar, to overhead press. Working on lowering the bar down as slow as poss to help build strength. 5 reps of that (this was my 5 set) then to 10 deadlifts for a cardio kick.. weight 40kg. I know I can do heavier just went slightly easier this morning. Trying to get to 55kg.
