Abby was supposed to have religion but was cancelled literally last minute but my husband and I still enjoyed this amazing dinner while listening to James Blunt’s song “Time of Our Lives”. Btw, have you heard that song 😍. Anyway back to dinner....from our #butcherbox order this month, I defrosted grass fed top round steaks. When I got to work I began googling ways to cook it and recipes (shhhh don’t tell my boss 😜). I decided on this recipe, well because peanuts AND peanut butter 😱. Did you know technically peanuts aren’t keto compliant ?! I remember reading that in one of the books I have. Peanuts contain some kind of mold 🤷🏻‍♀️ and are a legume but don’t worry, obviously I’m not the keto 🚔 🚨! I was worried this cut of meat would be tough but it melted in my mouth. I sliced against the grain, super thin and marinated for 2 hours (at least). I subbed coconut aminos for the soy sauce. (Or maybe it never went out of style, but anywaaaaayyy....) ⠀ _ I personally have been loving jump roping lately because its perfect for #busybabes to get in a quick, fat-burning workout AND it can literally be done anywhere! You can take it with you in a suitcase or leave it in your car! ⠀ _ And While it is a cardiovascular exercise that has a lower injury risk, there are still some key tips to keep in mind! ⠀ _ So below you’ll see my top DOs and DONTs when it comes to improving your jump rope game: ⠀ ⠀_ ❌For form: don’t arch the back! You don’t want to be pulling from your low back muscles when jump-roping. This can start to cause your back to absorb the shock instead of your hamstrings and glutes. ⠀ ✅Instead: keep the rib cage down and shoulders relaxed as well as the core nice and flexed! You want to keep your body straight up and down as shown in the pictures above! ⠀ ⠀_ ❌Don’t keep a “death-grip” on the handles with your hands. This will cause the rope to slow down too much or become too short which = less jumps for you! ⠀ ✅Instead: Grip the handles with your fingers and keep elbows close to the body. This will allow the rope to move more naturally and efficiently, as well as give you more speed! ⠀ _ ❌No need to jump to high and try not to land on your heels. This can cause too much strain on the legs. Ouch! ⠀ ✅Jumping low reduces impact on your ankles. You should be landing on the midsoles of your feet. ⠀ _ ❌Don’t jump in flat shoes! Ever heard of shin splits?! Yikes! ⠀ ✅Find a proper show that supports your arch or balls of your feet. Most cross-trainers are great shoes to jump rope in! ⠀ _ Hope these tips helped ya out! Always start off slow when picking up jump-roping again! I recommend starting with 2x a week, jumping for 1-minute and alternating with 1-minute rest of an ab exercise till you hit 15-20 minutes. Team sports, martial arts🤼‍♀️🤼‍♂️, hiking🧗‍♀️, dancing🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️, you name it. Even lower-intensity activities like walking 👣are beneficial✔. I am a fitness professional as well as a combat athlete who has been injured more times than his concussed brain can count from meniscus tears to full fledged grade 3 concussions here are a few tips on how to deal with injury! 1. If you can work around it, please do, doing something is better than nothing! 2. Follow your doctors or physical therapists orders they know what they are talking about! 3. Don't google diagnose your injury, go get help from a medical professional if you have concerns! 4. If you have an injury that puts you out of practice for an extended period of TIME please don't beat yourself up! I know it sucks sitting on the sidelines but guess what you can do aside from doing whatever you can to physically get better? Make yourself mentally strong! Read personal development books! Set BIG GOALS and DEADLINES to accomplish them! Call that old friend you've been meaning to call! Whatever you can do to get stronger mentally so you COMEBACK STRONGER THAN EVER! 5. Accept that injuries happen! There is no growth without growing pains! Make the setback your greatest comeback ever! Get after it and get better!💪

All this negativity towards different types of fitness is generally born out of ignorance. Pick a style you like or change it up from time to time. Research has linked a low-fat diet to a decrease in "good" HDL cholesterol, an increase in triglycerides, and a 25 percent decrease in estrogen levels. Low estrogen levels in women can lead to brain fog, depression, hot flashes, night sweats, fatigue, and vaginal dryness. . One of my favorite ways to add fats to my diet, which keeps my moods regulated, sugar cravings low and skin soft is a bulletproof. If you’re gaining muscle mass, you’re going to gain some weight. Awesome weight!! Muscles!⠀ ➖⠀ Water retention is a big one, eating more sodium and or more carbs in a day that usual will cause your body to hold on to water. But heck, who cares about water weight? I certainly don’t and you shouldn’t too!⠀ ➖⠀ You ate later at night than usual. This means you’re getting a distorted view on the scale the next morning because there’s still food in your stomach. You shouldn’t care about that because it’s food. It’s not bodyfat.⠀ ➖⠀ And lastly, you might need to take a poopoo. Go take a shit and step on the scale again. Boom 1-2-3 lbs lost. He looked up at me in complete disbelief and said: "Im a commercial fisherman. I haven't been catching many fish recently and I'm losing a lot of money." I challenged him to try something different the next time he went fishing. ⠀ ⠀ "Speak to the sea and expect your fishing to improve."⠀ ⠀ Later that week, dressing all in his gear and full of excitement, the young fisherman came to tell me, he had just pulled in the biggest catch of his fishing career. He had asked God to guide him to the fish rather than go to his usual spots. He felt the Holy Spirit exactly where to cast his hooks. Not only did he catch more fish than ever before, but he also caught better more expensive fish. the young man was beaming with joy and said: "Whatever you and you're team have, it is the real deal." ⠀ ⠀ After I returned home from my missions trip, he told me, that ever since i gave him that encouragement from God, he has experienced an exponential increase in all of his fishing expeditions. He now has hope fore his future and is excited about what he does,. God made Himself real to a young fisherman.⠀ ⠀ This is a testimony from a set of books called Increase. You should check them out!
