It’s been a while since that day the ptsd is still with me, however nowhere near as bad as it used to be, waking up sweating in my sleep and the feeling my face is on fire is pretty rare now but still happens from time to time, as far as anxiety goes I use 5htp and Gaba to keep it at bay, well in fact it’s stopped it 😊. Focusing on training is the best medicine I say, it’s like meditation to me, training so hard that once my head hits the pillow it’s lights out. I’m so glad I have this hobby and am ever so grateful for the advice and encouragement I’ve received along the way,including so many of you on here I say thanks so very much !!😊 Happy Flex Friday everyone, just finished a monster leg sesh and can barely walk right now. 💥Gymnastics💥 One of my favorite yet most challenging things about CrossFit is there is so much to do / learn. You can’t get comfortable because you always have SOMETHING you can get better at! For me, gymnastics movements used to be hard. I didn’t have the timing, the endurance, or the efficient movement patterns down to preform well. Not anywhere near where I want to be but I’ve made a lot of progress along this journey the past 2 years. The workout: 2 Rounds 6 Ring MU + 100 DU’s. 5 Ring MU + 100 DU’s (shown) *went unbroken this round in the DU’s) 4 Ring MU’s *Rest 3 minutes. When u do something new you won’t be great or even good at it. Don’t get frustrated. Don’t give up. Be persistent and keep going! Spero bene, ho visto che molte di voi stanno attraversando un periodo difficile a causa delle feste che si avvicinano. Come mai ci danno cosi "fastidio?". Beh i motivi possono essere molteplici, per quanto mi riguarda è il dover PER FORZA USCIRE DALLA COMFORT ZONE 🙅 cosa che come ogni persona con un DCA odio profondamente. Eppure durante la mia autoanalisi di oggi (si la faccio tutti i giorni, molte volte pure a voce alta e mi complimento da sola... fuori di testa? Forse. Ma fidatevi un vostro brava vale molto di più di quello da parte di chiunque altro 😉) mi sono resa conto che... bhe sto facendo molti molti MOLTI passi al di fuori di quel cerchio che mi ero disegnata attorno. 🚫 Sono una persona abitudinaria per natura e li non centra la malattia, mi piace allenarmi la mattina, avere delle piccole routine... 🤗 quando questo diventa ❌SBAGLIATO? Molto semplicemente quando TI IMPEDISCE DI VIVERE. "Devo mangiare le mie cose che sono in un elenco di 10 alimenti e non davanti ad estranei, ad un certo orario" cit Arianna di qualche mese fa. Il miglior modo di superare una muraglia... bhe è buttarla giù. Non si aggira con trucchetti perché care mie il muro resta li. Quindi? Quindi vi rimando al post di ieri sera per come mi sono sbloccata sulla tipologia di cibi che potevo mangiare (🌹cosa posso mangiare? ... tutto quello che mi piace!) e qui vorrei solo dirvi che se il vostro desiderio è vivere ma vi ostinate a non distruggere la muraglia raccontandovi balle... potete dire addio alla vita. Come mi sto sbloccando? TERAPIA D'URTO. 🌹Provo sapori nuovi ad orari inediti. E il venerdì signori è diventato il giorno della colazione salata! Avevo il terrore che non mi saziasse e invece è una soluzione ottima per resistere fino a mezzogiorno ed è pure deliziosa per cambiare ogni tanto. 😍🍞🍳🍹 Buttatevi! Non vi piacerà quel piatto? Amen, vi rifarete al pasto dopo, dico ❌BASTA alla frase "mi sembra di aver sprecato calorie". 🌹È un pasto NON una ragione di vita! CIRCUIT x3 rounds: 1️⃣ ball crossbody 2️⃣ tuckins 3️⃣ push-up crossover 4️⃣ push-ups with both (I just did amrap for each exercise but felt it in my core the whole time, especially the last two exercises with all of the stabilization needed!) .. Also, sorry I can’t think of better names for these exercises, it’s a pretty ballzy workout though😁!
